Open, stylish lobby and then rooms to match

Was a bit of a walk away from the Arena late after the opera (but not so so far)

Staff were wonderful especially Elizabeth on reception who assisted when we arrived early and Lia in the bar in the evening (apologies if I have spelt your names wrong)

Reception personnel very friendly

Refrigerator was off hence all drinks warm, took a day to cool it of a little. The cleaning was very poor, dirty towels were not collected or replaced. No variety of the drinks in the refrigerator. Breakfast selection very poor.

Room was too small.

The staff especially Elisabetta and the English chap who runs the breakfast room are very nice and accommodating. Elisabetta gave us some great suggestions for eateries which were superb and she went out of her way to help us.

We paid full price for both nights when the outside space was under construction so there was no outside greenery to enjoy, which was a shame as that was the reason I booked the hotel. My young son would have enjoyed some outside space also. We were especially disappointed as we were not informed about this prior to our stay or we would have cancelled. I did also request a room with a balcony or a nice view and did not get either. The rate should at least have been discounted and the works completed before the high season.

That we could not stay longer

Staff was super helpful. We needed a babysitter and they had one they work with who was excellent and kept the kids engaged (ie, they weren't sitting in front of the tv/screen-based devices all evening). Location is right on the main boulevard that leads from the autoroute exit to Piazza Bra, where the Arena is located. From hotel it's a five minute walk to Arena. Excellent location. Another plus was the breakfast: a wide variety of foods to choose from; kids were thrilled with pancakes and waffles and a sort of hash-brown, which the staff cooked up expressly when they were finished. We stayed only one night, but would return. Highly recommended.

The hotel is in an excellent position for exploring Verona. It is also very close to the train station, perfect to be able to visit other areas, such as Venice

Staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is tenminutese from bus and train station. Very close to all attractions. Rooms are perfect, and the breakfast was fantastic

The staff were amazing. The day we arrived in Verona we had food poisoning from a dinner in Torino. We ended up in hospital overnight. The hotel staff just could not do enough to help us. Anything we needed, they were there to assist. Hotel is very clean and comfortable, with a good breakfast. If you are staying in Verona, this definitely the place to stay. We will be here on our next trip to Verona.
