The location was super convenient

The advertising was very misleading. All the amenities that were heavily advertised were not included and you had to pay for. Including the sky bar which looked like it was a common area in the photos. Not impressed, felt misleading

Cramped space

Not knowing Reykjavik, we wanted to be central and be able to walk anywhere, even though we had a car. The location and rooftop bar are great. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was fine with a nice view and atmosphere. The rooms and wifi are sufficient.

The shower, chairs and bed could use an update. The room tempurature was hard to control and there was no ventilation except a small window. The parking should be angled as the wall is too close and perilously tight. We were disappointed hotel guests had to pay a lot to use the sauna.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour ; L'hôtel est très bien placé pour visiter la ville à pied Le personnel très attentionné et très sympathique. L'excellent petit déjeuner au 8ème étage avec une superbe vue sur la mer, la salle de concert (L'Harpa) je reviendrai avec mon groupe

Very beautiful and great location

The location was perfect.The breakfast excellent.The best about the hotel was mainly the staff: very kind,friendly and helpful.

The room was very small.The shower without having a cabin.The chairs in the room very uncomfortable.The smart TV had bad reception and was very often turned off automatically.And something else.. I booked the room 2,5 months ago and I requested a room on a higher floor because of my Claustrophobia.They did nothing about that and they gave me the worst possible room : On the 2nd floor (The 1st floor is the reception).This was very invonvenient.There was also a link in the booking.com chat of the hotel that proved to be a phishing scam. A scam email with the fishing link was also sent to us.The hotel realised very soon that it was a scam and they have sent us an email to avoid this link.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The spa area was nice (hot tub and sauna) and was very relaxing. The beds were very comfortable and the view was great of the sea and mountains.

The bath/shower was a bit small in the room and so water was easy to leak on to the floor of the bathroom. Unfortunately, there were two nights without power due to local maintenance work (not the fault of the hotel), but this was slightly off-putting as we came back late both nights from excursions and could not use the lights/TV in our room.

We loved staying at the Center Hotel Arnarhvoll, it was our fourth time visiting Iceland and this was by far the best hotel we’ve stayed in so far here. The location is great as you are a 5 minute walk from the high street but also get the sea view and quietness at nighttime. The hotel is also in between bus stop 5 & 6 so it is easy to commute to the different tours across Iceland. The room was a great size with a very comfortable bed. One added bonus was the floor was heated in both the bedroom and bathroom, which is a great addition after coming in from a cold day. Breakfast was great and there was a wide variety of both continental and cooked breakfast available. We will definitely be back to the hotel!

Location. It was close enought to centre

A lot of things. - brekfast every day the same and basic - sauna costing €20 per day. - shower and room being the size of a shoe box. - over the period of 5 days. 3 things managing to break ( tv, light bub, kettle) - the shower water having odd smell - front staff, being pretty much usless as to advise on anything about the city. - oh and yeah most important part the cleaning sucked. On day one brought back some lava rock upon taking it out of the bag i drooped it shatering into a lot of pieces we ask front desk for good hoovering. Well it was so good that I kept stepping on tiny rock pieces al the time

I have been to Iceland for 10+ times. This hotel has redefined my expectations and I am really grateful for having chosen it during my stay. Location is perfect, right next to Harpa concert hall and Reykjavik harbour with the best window view of mountains. Room is ready clean and cozy, perfect for one person. Wifi internet is smooth which was so helpful for my work coverage during Christmas season. Sky bar view is fantastic. Staff are all kind and supportive and the room cleaning work is phenomenal, really really appreciate the service! Last, the proximity of the hotel right next to Reykjavik harbour really helped when I rushed outdoor for aurora (northern lights) - it just took me 1 minute to walk to the harbour to see northern lights, and I really appreciate!

Good central location, good rooms, hotel staff helpful booking taxis. Close to bus stop and harbour. Quite a big shame that all the windows are so dirty you can barely see out of them.

Windows so dirty you cant see. Northern lights were visible but we didn't get a call - they didn't realise. Unfair to pay extra for sea view room but then not be able to see out of it due to dirty windows Could have more hot food for breakfast

Perfect location and comfortable room. It is possible to add an extra bed for a child in larger rooms. Lovely rooftop bar for breakfast and late drinks.

Use of jacuzzi quite expensive.
