Location is excellent.
Concern and care from the staff, advising of places to visit and to familiarize when we arrived. Adaption of breakfast to our travel plans the morning we left. They have a restaurant that is associated to the property which is outstanding!! One of the best meals we ever had and they made the effort to accommodate us because we were staying at the hotel. We also appreciated that the restaurant was pushed on us as an option but suggested.

Exceptional location- you can’t beat it. Our room had its own private patio with the most incredible view! Lovely breakfast and friendly staff.

A perfect stay from start to finish! The staff was warm and inviting. I had wonderful conversation with Gislane about travel and life in Essaouira, which was very inspirational. The breakfasts were plentiful with a variety each morning, and served on the beautiful sea view terrace.

Great reception when we arrived, extremely helpful staff who helped arrange various activities, gave advice on many aspects of our stay and were friendly and charming in the process. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay was idyllic and a great start to the day. The breakfast itself was delicious. Our room, at the top of the riad, had a great view of the bay and the town too, and was well worth the climb. The room wasn't overly spacious but was perfectly adequate for our three night stay.
Nothing negative comes to mind.

Breakfasts were delicous, fresh and served at a time of our choosing. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Location was perfect - close to beach and medina. We enjoyed being able to have a pit stop during the daybefore going back out. La Table restaurant is exceptional
The only slight negative waslack of shade on the roof terrace. Only really a problem for me as I am very fussy

Breakfast, friendly welcoming staff, room with a view of the sunset and overlooking a square and the port area. Great restaurant attached, would highly recommend eating there.
Bit of noise pollution from some exercise classes, but not that bad!

A lovely hotel in a brilliant location just inside the Historic Medina; amazing views from the roof terrace (where we had breakfast every morning) and cooling sea breeze. On site restaurant is one of the best in Essaouira with amazing local fresh fish dishes....

Exceptional staff that truly cared about the happiness of it's guests. Room was spacious with great views. The Terraces also had great views. The breakfast was good and prepared to the request of the guest. They also have a restaurant that many people spoke highly of. The owners of the Riyadh will book reservations for you at the restaurant which was quite full the evening I was there.
It's can be difficult to find the entrance since the sign at the entrance is for a different Hotel. I had to have someone at the restaurant show me how to get to the riad. Not a major problem however. Please see included photo. The Riad is to the right and up the stairs.

The staff were so helpful and kind. Their recommendations for Dar Baba and other spots around town were great. The room was clean and maintained well, and the bed was more comfortable than other comparable hotels we stayed in. The view was wonderful.
The eggs in the morning were undercooked, even when we sent them back and received them again. Also the seafood restaurant was mediocre, especially for the price.

Great hotel, perfectly located with Atlantic view from the room and balcony. Breakfast on the balcony each morning was superb. Short walk from carp Park and really easy to find. Staff were fabulous. Much smaller than expected, so only a handful of rooms and very quiet. Minutes from everything you need to see in Essaouira.

Essaouira is probably my favorite town in Morocco. The people here are not as pushy as those in Marrakech for example. Overall the vibe is much more relaxed and I guess the beach makes the people calmer. This hotel is located in what I would say the most perfect location in Essaouira. It’s right in between the main souqs, the beach promenade, and the picturesque port area. None of these 3 is too far for a comfortable walk. I always start from the souqs for late lunch, then the port area for late afternoon, then the beach promenade for sunset. There are good seafood restaurants by the beach to have dinner. The hotel has a huge rooftop terrace overlooking the ocean and the view is gorgeous anytime of the day. My room was so spacious with high ceiling. Breakfast was amazing and wifi worked perfectly. The staff here were also nice and welcoming. The best part for me is the hammam massage spa downstairs. I had one of the best massages in my life in this spa called Mumtaz Mahal.
Nothing, everything was amazing. I just wished I stayed longer. I would recommend spending at least 3 nights as Essaouira is really a beautiful place.

As mentioned previously, the property is lovely and in a great location. But what ultimately made us enjoy our many trips to Mogador is the staff. We have known Nezha throughout are many trips and she is lovely and very attentive. She checked in on us everyday to see if we needed anything or if she could assist us.

Breakfasts were nice. Ousmane the houseman was very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were tidied well.
The restaurant downstairs was quite nice but not brilliant- the guitarist was lovely, food ok. Given flat tonic water with my drink. Pleasant staff in restaurant.
Check in was poor, not greeted in a friendly manner, perfunctory hostess Layla, had to prompt her for a welcome drink and snack- was not offered this. Day we arrived, in the evening there was no possibility for drinks or snacks as the restaurant was closed downstairs. Front of house looked in the fridge and found a beer so gave us that as the only offering- which we were charged for.
Front of house next day was also not especially friendly/ warm. Room very rudimentary/ shabby, curtains allowed light through, the door to the room was worn and wood see-through / damp in parts, everything finished poorly in the room and worn. Dirty toweling poncho in the bathroom. No area of shade on the terrace for breakfast/drinks which was crazy, one covered area but the roof of it was latticed and faced the sun directly therefore was not at all in the shade, no umbrellas. Water not put in the room on one day- then charged wrongly for this at check out. Very surprised this is owned by the Monacan royal family and frankly at the high rating- so misleading and I travel a lot for comparison. Cross checked booking.com with Mr and Mrs Smith as usually trust them but this was a wholly disappointing place to stay and I will contact them also to tell them this. Felt like a three star bed and breakfast.
Leak of water on the floor outside our bedroom coming from behind the room.

The breakfast was very good and the terrasse where you take it has an amazing view. The staff is top and very carefully, the quality of the products was very good
The noise of the rooftop in the center, but it's the same for all the people... it's up to the town hall to monitor this, not the Riad
