Chambre spacieuse.

Great location in the medina, staff is super welcoming and helpful, the riad is absolutely stunning with rooftop overlooking the medina, nice food at the restaurant (but no alcohol served), good massage service, very confortable king size bed
Nothing, everything was perfect!
Quick note: swimming pool in the middle of the courtyard and restaurant so more of a pool for decoration rather than for swimming.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, goed eten. Goede ophaalservice.

A wonderful stay, everything was right. I believe this was the most beautiful Riad in Fes! The staff and breakfast were great too!
Unfortunately the swimming pool was out of use.

Thanks a lot, great accomodation in the middle of the Medina. Loved the Moroccan Minimalist Design. Thanks also to Abdellatif who was a great help guiding us through the maze of the Medina.

This property is amazing and the staff are so helpful
We’ll be telling everyone about our stay and would definitely return
The breakfast is excellent as well as the rest of the menu
Thank you Da Bensouda for making our holiday fabulous

We had a very clean and comfortabel stay at this Ryad. Service from the hotel was even better then we actually expected. Our guide “Abdeltif” so attentive and friendly we recommend him for sure any tour or questions he will be there for you.

We had a really spacious room and we could not hear anything from outside. It was really quiet and clean. The staff is very kind and respectful. The breakfast was served as a buffet and really good, but maybe missing somes veggies.
We had a 30 min back massage, which is amazing!!
Be aware that the Dar is located in a small and dirty street and very hard to find (but there are signs to the Dar). You have to expect a few people asking you where you wanna go.
The pool is really nice but is located in the restaurant, so people are eating next to it. Also the staff is always around and you might feel a lack of privacy.

This is a beautiful family run raid you can definitely feel the history in this establishment it is clean and a great standard of comfort I don't see how I could fault it the staff are on call 24 hours for your need and always cater to the customers needs for example when we got there I think the breakfast was from 8 but as we were leaving early most mornings for excursions they kindly started it from 7am to adapt to our needs rooms are immaculate and beautiful and the AC is on point you want to chill by the pool they provide you with towels on the sunbeds and straw hats as by the pool is open air the ladies in the raid make you fresh tasty food me personally it's better to eat in the riad then out in the restaurants in the Medina the food is a lot Better standard and watch tastier and it's very reasonable with priced we also did the cooking class there and learned about the spices what makes a Moroccan dish highly recommend it also they have a private guide who I can definitely recommend to take you on a tour of the Medina and the three sectors of fes with this tour you will get to see twice as much stuff and a lot more detail in history of fes then you will with TripAdvisor tour I think they offered 8 stops I went to 15 maybe more it was a very interesting long tour definitely worth it if you really want to know about fes the guide was a very intelligent humble guy who grew up in the Medina would highly recommend this too .I stayed here three nights out of eight in Morocco
One thing I will say I wasn't too sure about this when I first got there because it's a real authentic riad you're in the mix of the Medina when no cars can go it's a lot of values so if you can download the offline map it would be really helpful we didn't do that but the guys from the riad will give you their number so whenever you need to get back to the riad they will send someone to come and get you and also when you're going out they send a member of staff with you to get to any point you need to make sure you ring them 20 minutes before you arrive with your luggage because they will send the guy with the kart to come and pick you and your luggage up it's a bit bizarre at first but to be honest with you once you get used to it is all part of the experience staying in a real raid I'm living in the Medina it's a very authentic stay in Morocco would highly recommend it

beautiful palace.
a bit difficult to find and to get around from there, though that is rather an issue of Fes not so much of the property.

The Riad has a beautiful traditional architecture
The neighborhood was very difficult to find and not safe

Decoration / Aroma / Bedding / Cleaning is perfect This is a very good choice to stay in Fes If you drive to the hotel you should contact the Riad before How to park and How much to pay to avoid any scammer
None but if they provide the hot water (kettle) i
t’s will be perfect

Gorgeous Riad, beautiful rooftop view of the city. close to everything yet far enough away to have some quiet. The staff and service is impeccable and friendly. It was a fabulous place to end our 2+ weeks in Morocco!
We were in a downstairs room, and while the ceilings are beautiful and ridiculously high, there is seemingly no sound proofing or insulation between the above room and ours. One night, the guests above us must’ve had a super early flight because they started rushing about the room and then dragging a suitcase at about 4:30am lasting about an hour and there was no more sleep after that.
The pool is awesome but SO cold- it would be so great to have it even just a bit warmer.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning hotel that left a lasting impression on me. The hotel was simply breathtaking, with its picturesque architecture and elegant décor. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the beauty of the surroundings and knew that I was in for a truly special stay.
One of the things that truly made this hotel stand out was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. From the front desk to the spa staff, everyone was incredibly kind and attentive to my needs. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable, and I truly appreciated their efforts.
Speaking of the spa, it was one of the best I have ever experienced. The services were top-notch, and I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I particularly enjoyed the massage, which was both therapeutic and luxurious at the same time.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable experience. The beauty of the hotel, combined with the warm staff and exceptional spa services, truly make it a standout destination. I cannot wait to return and experience it all over again!
I recently stayed at a hotel that offered an early check-in at 10 am, which was greatly appreciated after a long flight. While the hotel staff were friendly and the amenities were great, I must admit that the ground floor room I was assigned was a bit noisy during the day, making it difficult to sleep. However, I understand that having a room to rest in after a long flight was a top priority, and I was grateful for the early check-in. Despite the noise issue, I had a pleasant stay overall and would consider staying at this hotel again in the future.

I am moved by the beauty of this place, It's just sublime. Each small corner testifies to the Moroccan savoir vivre and sophistication. Every little detail reminded me why I love my country so much. And let's not even talk about the staff, smiling, helpful, generous and discreet. Yazid was very kind and shared with me many historical facts about the building and its history, a man of culture. And Aziz is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He walked with me everywhere so that I dont get lost and transformed all the tragets into a delight with his sensitivity, kindness and cheerfulness. This place will remain engraved in my memory.

Bensouda is a very beautiful place, authentic and chic at the same time. The rooms are very spacious and clean.
We stated there 2 nights, enjoyed the tasty breakfast, very friendly and nice hammam lady and the experience itself.
The stuff is very helpful and you should definitely ask them for guids and help about getting around in the city.

Make sure you double-check your appointments. For example, we were told by the staff that they booked a table for us in a nearby restaurant but when we arrived - there was no reservation. Or, that we will have a guide for the next morning, but in the morning we were told, that there is no guide available.
Also, we were told in the hotel to pay 30 dirham to the person, who helped us carry our language to the car, but after we paid him - he was very sad and unsatisfied by the amount and ask for more.
Also, it would be good that when you arrive to Medina, they should come to bring you, as it is suepr difficult to get there, especially when is dark. At each corner somebody is trying to cheat you, so the arrival time was not so pleasant for us.

Interior of the Riad was gorgeous. Well restored and clean. Paid 63euros for a night in the standard double room with breakfast, so i would consider that pretty good value for money.
We had to leave early in the morning around 730am for a long drive to Merzouga, so the hotel staff were very obliging in setting up breakfast earlier. Much appreciated.
Able to take payment using credit card. Huge plus point.
Communication between hotel owner and guest could be improved. While we were introduced to the main area of the Riad, we could never find the rooftop terrace which was a shame given that was one of the reasons for booking the Riad. In addition, the reception/introduction felt a tad aloof and impersonal. Maybe we just read him wrongly or that's his personality, or perhaps we had gotten used to the hospitable nature of Moroccans. The welcome unfortunately felt very transactional.
Another unfortunate issue with communication was how the hotel staff had promised to meet us at Batha Square, where we were told to park our car. They stopped replying towards our arrival time (although we had provided estimates and updates). While it was an experience to walk through the maze of the medina, it was nonetheless unpleasant to have to worry about getting lost and accosted by faux guides (of which there were plenty). Signage was sparse and Google maps GPS was sporadic amongst the high walls of the medina. Was not a good start to the stay.
The hotel hosted a cooking class for a large group of American students (at least 20 pax?), and the acoustics within the Riad meant that the noise absolutely disrupted the serenity of the evening/night. Understandable that this is part of the business, but once again not a pleasant experience given the intention to enjoy the peace and quiet behind the walls of the Riad.
Dinner was average (skewer meats were dry, targine was so-so), and probably not worth the price. But i guess you pay for the convenience of eating within the Riad so can't complain about this.
