Una excelente atención y un lugar con mucho encanto . Tanto Zlad como el resto de personal han estado muy atentos.

I never award a perfect score, but this place earns it.
Upon arrival, I received a warm welcome from Ziad, setting a delightful tone from the outset. The Riad's stunning entrance hall immediately captivates, hinting at the excellence within. Frequented by notable personalities, it takes mere minutes to understand why—the tranquility and impeccable architectural design speak volumes.
I took the deluxe suite on the first floor. The room's aesthetics, from the elegant glass accents to the carefully selected furniture, exude charm. The bathroom, featuring a classical bath, adds a touch of luxury. Throughout my stay, the sound of the garden fountain provided a soothing backdrop, enhancing the overall ambiance.
Conveniently situated within walking distance of the entire medina, navigating its labyrinthine streets was made easier with the assistance of a guide. The Riad arranged for Mohammed, an knowledgeable guide, who enriched my experience with historical insights. Importantly, he avoided tourist traps and ensured any purchases were genuine.
A few additional details for future guests:
- Parking is available nearby, albeit in the public domain. A 24-hour guard provides security. Given the Medina's narrow streets, navigating to the Riad may require some finesse.
- The Wi-Fi is both fast and dependable, catering to the needs of modern traveler's.
- The Hammam and Massage experience was well worth it.

Riad El Yacout is just beautiful. Built to an exceptionally high standard the house has been lovingly cared for and is full of wonderful detailed tiling. It’s is beautifully furnished. The house is a work of art and has an illustrious history. It’s is extremely comfortable and in a great location close to the heart of the Medina. All of the staff were highly professional; kind, courteous helpful and very welcoming. We couldn’t fault the service. The food from the restaurant was outstanding and the in house Hammam was excellent.
Mehdi and Oussama were especially kind and generous to us during our stay but everyone was just lovely
Nothing. Everything was wonderful

the riad is just amazing it looks even better than in the pictures! the rooms are very comfortable and the staff is just amazing. They were super kind super helpful and always treating us like no one ever has done it at any of our stays. Marcos has an exceptional service and was always super attentive for everything we needed, he was always helpful and made us feel like home. I would come back to riad el yacout millions of times.
The restaurant prices are a bit expensive compared to all of the other places around fez but the food was really good.

The staff will go the extra mile to help. I note two, Mo and Marcus, extremely helpful.
The Riad is in the old Medina and driving in the tiny roads with endless stream of scooters, might be a bit intimidating.

Beautiful, ornate and incredibly well managed. high attention to detail and service. Extremely good attention to detail. Ideal location.

By far and away the biggest and best Riad in Fes. Excellent central location with fantastic, professional and attentive staff who catered to our every wish. The riad has beautiful architecture (dating back to the 14th century) and every facility you could ask for; swimming pool, luxury restaurant, sauna rooms etc. Our rooms were enormous and exquisitely furnished - they made you feel like a king!
A huge shout out to Abdou and his team, especially Marcos, for making us feel so welcome in their country and for treating us like his honoured guests whilst we were there. If I ever come back to Morocco this is where I'll be staying.
We were also surprised to learn that Bono himself filmed a music video here with U2! The song is called 'Magnificent' if you want to check it out. If this riad was good enough for Bono then it's good enough for me!
Nothing. It was perfect.
3.5
Marcos and his colleague behind the desk were excellent. Marcos was kind enough to come to work early on a Sunday morning so that we could get breakfast before opening time. Also, the lobby is lovely and full of charm.
lovely hotel and helpful staff, but the stay was not worth the price. Two inches of standing water in the shower stall due to shoddy construction and maintenance, no hot water one morning, and the breakfast offering was a sad joke considering the steep price. Ownership needs to up its game to deliver a hotel experience that the lovely building merits

We had an excellent stay here - the room was quiet and comfortable, the staff was exceptionally accommodating and generous (shout out to Marcos! He really made us feel special), and the location was great for exploration. Breakfast was great and they were able to accommodate dietary restrictions. Overall I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Can staff be too helpful?

It has decided that bigger is better
Now touts almost 50 rooms which is exactly what I try to avoid. It was once a small intimate road. No more. Caters to bus crowd and tourist groups. I guess it's where the money is, but not authentic maroc.

nice and helpful staff
for the price, too many things were not good enough :
very cold breakfast room
very poor internet connection
very loud music playing every day from 1800 to 20-2100
not always hot water

we were at top floor above central courtyard so noisy

The staff were welcoming and hospitable to every simple request
the wifi was slower than Western hotels, and the mattress was quite firm/hard

calm and peaceful in the middle of a busy medina - totally charming staff - beautiful riad - excellent food and altogether great hospitality.
Hot water not always reliable.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly
Our room didn't have a balcony but this was kind of our fault because we changed our booking and they had to prepare a room for us at the last minute. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a good room even if it wasn't the room we wanted we still appreciated their flexibility

The whole place is stunning & the rooms very spacious.
Staff were happy to facilitate our late night swims.
The pricings for extras were both inconsistent & extortionate.
One night, a small pot of tea for two cost 25 dh, the next, a smaller pot cost 50. Such practices are not uncommon in Morocco but should be beneath an establishment of this calibre. The average price in Fez for tea is about 10.
The most frustrating is the inconsistency and the feeling that prices are made up on the spot depending on who is being served.
The small issue of the tea is the difference between an 8 & 10, but it’s the little details that make perfection.
A laundry service is offered, €1.50 for underwear & €3 for bigger pieces. We felt it was a bit much.

Very beautiful riad, both in architecture and furnishing.
Quiet setting
Near medina
It was all excellent

Staff excellent. Decor and furnishings in public areas very opulent good position for exploring the old town. Breakfast very nice.
Room (3) was just off main stairway so noisy. No outside windows and no natural light. 2 small windows open out to central dining area so again very noisy. TV not working mini bar not working. Shower takes ages to get hot water. Bed and pillows very hard. No upstairs terrace. There is a new flat roof but devoid of any seating plants or shade. Top story has been added to the building.cats have left urine and piles of poo everywhere on this new floor. Downstairs courtyard where the pool is only gets the sun for a few hours mid day as walls are so high. Wet seat cushions on outside chairs. Not a place to relax Left a day early as just too uncomfortable.

Excellent stay ,excellent welcoming, and fantastic location

It felt like you were staying in a palace and treated like a king. The attention to detail gives you all the comforts of a high class hotel in the USA ,but it feels and looks as if you are in a palace.
Everything was great. The taxi drivers who do the airport transfers are sometimes dishonest, but this is unrelated to the riad.
