The hotel is in a superb location for an early return flight, being only a couple of minutes walk (literally) from departures. It has a choice of restaurants, they have always been super busy whenever I've stayed there, so if you want to eat post 7pm I'd recommend you book a table.

Now this was a first for me as I've stayed here loads of times, but the bed was ridiculously uncomfortable. I felt like I was rolling off of it and this contributed to a very poor night's sleep before a 6am flight.

We had a lovely trip. Nice welcome from Guidian, we had a lovely complimentary upgrade for our 1st wedding anniversary with club lounge access. We’d definitely recommend adding this on the staff we’re attentive and let us take a night cap to our room.

Some of the marketing is a bit dodgy. Advertising that you can pay £37 extra for “free” breakfast. If you’ve paid £37 for it, it isn’t free.

De comfort in the room was very low for the price and the plan after the accommodation.

Location was perfect and the bed was SOOOOO comfortable!

Pretty much everything: - bed was huge and comfy - the rooms were well-sized - the bathroom was large and high-quality - the location is fantastic.

Very minor, but there was nowhere to watch football, which meant I had to go elsewhere.

Every member of staff was welcoming. The location is great and the rooms were very comfortable and quiet!

I paid extra for room upgrade with a view over the Gatwick Airport it was fascinating to watch the planes taking off and landing Also I found ALL the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Also the easy access to the South Terminal was a bonus. Worth every penny off my stay at the Sofitel.

I am disabled and I cannot thank all the staff at the Sofitel enough for their wonderful assistance and polite/welcoming manner. I had a wonderful night's sleep. I also enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere in the restaurant and bar area and had a lovely relaxing evening before my flight.

Spending the night at the Sofitel London Gatwick was the perfect way to start my long journey back to Australia Everything was fabulous and the location couldn't have been better being situated in the North Terminal down a little tunnel. In the morning I just had to walk for 5 minutes and I was in Gatwick International departures. The bed was super big and comfortable Dinner at the Italian restaurant was excellent The staff were friendly and accommodating

Reception staff not too welcoming with a couple of exceptions. But perhaps they were understandably annoyed by the behaviour of some guests.

Very helpful staff.

The mechanical noise on the upper floors made it impossible to sleep. The hotel offered an alternative room but again located on the higher floors. I had a very early flight and had a terrible sleepless night.
