Dull outdated hotel. Couldn't eat in restaurant had to go into bar to order food yet nobody at bar too take order waited over 20 minutes for somebody to come who then radio another member of staff. Couldn't order another drink as again nobody there. At breakfast staff hovering round to remove plates soon as fork placed down. First morning sat down for breakfast for them to then start relaying tables ready for lunch very off putting as walking past table whilst we eating. We checked out a day early yet wasnt asked why just told to put key card in box. So disappointed.

The room was large clean and apart from a couple of doors being banged late at night quite quiet. The beds are large and really comfortable

The rooms where the cleaners come in to get their cleaning things was close to my room and first thing there was some doors banging and noise but it was 8am.

Room was OK. Good size, fairly clean.

Bathroom was ok but a bit old. Wifi was OK, but not great. Breakfast was an extra cost (£12 each) Room cost £100.

Bed - very comfortable and bedding was good quality. Breakfast - excellent . Great choice and full English was top notch . Receptionist - very friendly and helpful . Happy to help and very helpful .

Pool - had been shut for 3 years but is still on your website as open . Bar- came for an event and bar was advertised until 12 . Staff shut the bar and left about 1030. Other staff- not friendly in the hotel bar and was continuously moaning about other staff not turning up . Hotel bar - had very little choice of wine and drinks Food - no room service or bar snacks available until 5pm. Toilets- bar toilets were dirty with ants everywhere. Carpet- held down with duct tape. Event room - curtains hanging off

Car parking was good and staff friendly

Lack of choice behind the bar, limited wine, out of stock on many spirits and no Crisps, also very expensive. Ordered food which was obviously mass produced ready made.

Hotel was nice and clean and the food in the bar was good.

Carpet in the bedroom could do with upgrading. Lack of choice Drinks at the bar.

Very convenient location if visiting university and city centre. All staff were polite , welcoming and helpful and the choice at breakfast was excellent.

A bit tired and in need of some tlc but everything in the room worked fine.
