The location of the hotel is very good as could easily walk into Bath although it is uphill on the way back! The room was very clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfy. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

As I have medically diagnosed dietary requirements I found the breakfast choices were quite limiting and even though I made a special request this was not entirely followed. I did mention when checking out that £18 for a breakfast each day considering what I had eaten was a little excessive.

spa was good, breakfast nice, hotel an amazing building BUT our room had torn curtains, heating did not work, no heating in bathroom and parts of the bath were filthy and slept in a very cold room after repeatedly notifying reception in person. also Wi-Fi not good at all.

cold room, cold bathroom, filthy bath, no WIFI after checking out, i was promised a call the following day that never came.

Spa disappointing green mould and black mould in a lot of places some of this could easily be wiped off so total lack of cleaning and upkeep. Broken tiles. Aroma steam room a revolting smell of just man sweat. Showers in this area are not functioning as they should either. Pool overcrowded and tiny and shallow and too hot just a breeding ground for bugs i expect. This is such a let down for this nice hotel. Please revamp this area and make the pool bigger. The short term investment would pay off long term.

The mattress was spring coil which was worn and made noises when you turned. The mattresses need to be updated.

Rooms were not very clean tbh bath was dirty and needed a good clean sheet were marked as well also thought the pool area needed a sort out tired and dirty

Great spar lovely room. Some staff very helpful but not all.

My husband is an xl size and the spar gowns in the room was not did ask if they had a larger size they said yes but none arrived after 4 days. The continental breakfast was lovely but the cooked breakfast was not Premier Inn was better. The staff at breakfast were very good.

Breakfast needs improvement. Ordered room service for 9.00 and no sign of it. Went to Dining room and there was barely any food and the staff had disappeared. The food we had past its best. This hotel is great and we have stayed many times but probably only experienced 1 good breakfast. Please make some changes.

The size of the room was great, dual aspect so wonderful view and also every single member of staff was so polite and helpful, Peter on the front desk on our arrival, Mr Singh in the restaurant on our visit was very attentive. And the two staff that served us in the bar on different occasions were great 👍🏻

Bath didn't seem to drain all that quick so showered in a couple of inches of water

The property is just beautiful, we last stayed back in 2018 and still just as lovely as it was then. This was a stay for our honeymoon and the towels were in shape of swans with rose petals. Beautiful touch!

The breakfast wasn’t as great at it used to be. The hash browns were very floppy but overall it was ok :-)

Beautiful building set on lovely well kept grounds. The spa and swimming area were also lovely. Bedroom was clean, big and spacious and had all the facilities we needed.

Breakfast was overpriced. It was cold, tasteless and tough. Disappointing really!

Being put in a lower standard room whe we arrived, clothes on hanger left in the floor with a bad on them ,clothes on hangers for a reason. Saturday breakfast a shambles and a buffet breakfast in a hotel like this unbelievable.saturday day night meal ,forgot my order, only 3 tables in the restaurant at the time ,excellent skin on chips Friday, cheap oven chips Saturday night. Had much better value in 3 star hotels and better service.

Comfortable room, great spa facilities. We didn't have breakfast or dinner, so not able to comment. Friendly staff, we were able to check in early which was great.

Front of house staff were stressed, there were too few of them, and they needed much more training. “This is my first day” is not an excuse for repeatedly failing to bring toast, cutlery etc to the table, or to be completely unable to calculate the bill - not 5* service
