The room was cozy, the location was good, and tue staff were really nice. I had a dinner at the restaurant and the meal was great.

This is our 4th stay and love the improvements made. Such value for money we will be back. Staff very friendly and especially Donald who is an asset.

This was our first stay at the Edinburgh Marriot Hotel Holyrood and my wife and I were very pleased with our lovely room. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Lovely breakfast. Swimming pool was an added bonus and facilities first class.

Have no complaints.

Beautiful hotel amazing staff , personal care and attention

There was a power cut in the middle of the night which we wasn't aware of. Apparently it was planned.... Next day we all received letters under our doors advising of the works. It sounded like the door became unlocked in the night. I was in the room on my own, very scared. Hotel phones not working and pitch black corridors

I liked everything about this hotel. Friendly & helpful staff, clean & comfy room, and a good breakfast with wide selection. Hotel is at the bottom of Royal Mile.

Een lekker groot bed, ruime kamer met waterkoker thee en koffie en fijne badkamer. De conciërge Mike heeft ons geholpen met bagage en tips voor goed eten. Heel fijn!

De badkamerdeur was wat viezig en ook zat er een veeg viezigheid op de muur naast het toilet. Het uitklap stretchbed voor mijn zoon was wat doorleefd. De temp in de kamer kreeg ik niet lager dan 16C waardoor ik het snachts, onder een donzen dekbed, te warm kreeg.

Noise with the work being done and lifted being out of order

The staff of this hotel were amazing and so accommodating. We asked for an early check in due to health reasons and Ryanair changing our flights to a very early flight. The staff were so helpful and we really wished to thank them for this. Rooms were gorgeous, the bed was very comfy. The hotel has been refurbished recently. We would definitely recommend staying here. Great location for exploring the old town, the breakfast is good aswell. Thank you very much to the staff at the Marriott.

Nicht weit vom Zentrum, ca 20 Gehminuten. Zimmer und Bad geräumig, gute Ausstattung.

Der Heizkörper im Bad läuft durchgehend auf höchster Stufe und lässt sich nicht ausschalten. Dies ist einerseits nicht sehr angenehm da sich das ganze Zimmer dadurch aufheizt und andererseits nicht sehr nachhaltig. Bei der Reinigung wurde einiges nicht nachgeteilt, wie z.B. Milch im Kaffee Eck, Waschhandschuhe und Kosmetik - Tücher. Wenn man Lärm empfindlich ist, sollte man darauf achten kein Zimmer in der Nähe des Aufzugs zu haben, der Signalton bei jeder Fahrt ist sehr laut.

Hôtel moderne propre avec piscine et spa et le petit déjeuner très bien, le lit assez confortable et bien grand. Le personnel très agréable. L'hôtel est dans un endroit calme.

Limpeza impecável. Quarto amplo e confortável. Cama e travesseiros confortáveis. Funcionários ótimos. Academia bem completa para um hotel. Piscina aquecida e coberta grande. Café da manhã muito bem servido, com opções a la carte incluídas. Hotel bem localizado, podendo conhecer as atrações a pé.

Perfect location, rooms comfortable. Air con is a little slow at coming on and the rooms are very warm but it was still a lovely stay. Friendly staff, helpful at all times.

On the spa floor, outside the lift was very dirty. Lose broken tiles pushed into a corner, a can of lilt, other rubbish that had been left which looked very untidy. The rooms being a little warm but it wouldnt stop me from staying again.

What an outstanding hotel. The staff were amazing, so friendly and welcoming. The room was fabulous. Very roomy with everything we needed. Comfy bed, blackout curtains, tea & coffee, free toiletries but to mention a few. The breakfast was all outstanding. My only disappointment was we couldn’t stay longer! But we will definitely be going back again, and take full advantage of the spa next time too. Location was also superb, literally minutes from the Royal Mile.

Lots of drilling noise during the day. Noisy bathroom door. Could hear the lift constantly opening etc from the room.

I have had a lovely stay no complaints except 1 the room advertised on booking.com for a junior suite was not the room allocated to me. I was disappointed that there was no separate seating area however this was the only complaint food was amazing staff were friendly and helpful facilities were amazing swimming pool was great would definitely recommend

We got into our room early . Pool and sauna facilities were good . All the staff were nice and friendly . Room was spacious and fresh. Towels were nice and bed was comfortable.

Hot breakfast wasn’t that hot and the potatoe scone was brick hard . Coffee was terrible but it was the last cup in the help yourself container . There was work going on somewhere snd the noise woke us up early. The tv next door was also a bit loud but luckily it didn’t go on late . We asked for the conditioner bottle to be filled but still none on the second day ..
