A lovely hotel with helpful and friendly staff a great place to stay

- good breakfast ( expensive) - close to pedestrian area ( 150 m)

- old room - obsolete bathroom and shower - expensive - slow internet wifi

It was not the hotels fault at all but there were a few noisy locals on the street, but it was a friday night after all!!

In all honesty this is one of the most friendly and for the price point best hotels I've stayed in out of a good few hundred in the last 10 years and I think I'd like to stay again. The parking was easy once I found a space, the reception staff and restaurant were more than nice and I felt so welcome. The room was pleasantly snug but had plenty enough space and the road itself outside was not unduly noisy. The food in the restaurant was top notch and on return to my room I was most happy.

The room was unacceptably noisy (I asked for a quiet room) music till 2330 then what sounded like a party at about 2am followed by noise in adjacent room (walls seem thin). This shouldn't put people off as I'm sure it was just my stay being a Saturday night and this is the only negative on one of my most happy hotel nights in a long time.

Hotel needs renovation - rooms are old. Walls are very thin - you can here voices, bathroom and even sex from the next room :)

Perfect location just close to German boarder for 1 night stay. I have a 8 hour drive and due to covid restrictions we cant stay in germany so this location was perfect for us, the next day we had a 2 hour drive to our next destination. Nice bar in under the hotel

In 1975 this was probably a 4 star hotel. Now really not worth 4 stars. The bathroom and furniture was still from 1975.

Great location for the Main Street and lovely helpful staff

Blackout curtains were a waste of time, the room was very bright. Wifi was not good.
