Tout ce que l’hôtel nous a proposé était top!
Nous avons découvert en étant sur place que la ville de Kirkenes meurt…. A cause de la guerre Russie Ukraine On ne croise personne , tout ou presque est fermé

The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Kirkenes, easily accessible by bus from the airport and about a 20 minute walk from the cruise ship dock. The staff were friendly and the room was quiet and clean. The local museum is well worth a visit.

This was our second stay in two months in this excellent hotel. As before, our room was modern, spacious and attractive with the added advantages of a small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, effective blackout curtains and a view over the town. Our dinner of reindeer in the restaurant was very good and the breakfast was, as before, excellent with a huge range of choices. Benjamin on reception was a real star - friendly, efficient and helpful and he gets extra points for having an Australian baseball cap which he proudly put on for us.
Our room was too hot. The temperature needs to be lowered a little.
The drinks menu was only in Norwegian. An English version would be helpful.
The young people serving drinks were all under-age and, according to Norwegian law, were not able to serve spirits.

The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Kirkenes with easy access to shops and restaurants. We arrived early but the lovely receptionist was extremely kind and welcoming. Not only did she find us a room with a beautiful view but we were also allowed to check-in ahead of time. Breakfast was included and it was absolutely delicious with so many options from which to choose. All the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

central to most things, early check in when coming off the Hurtigruten at no extra charge, pool & sauna, bed was warm and comfortable
room needed maintenance as the door to bathroom fell off, chef and my husband did a temp fix, door to room was difficult to lock (electronic latch didn’t want to close), very basic amenities

Great Staff, location, comfy beds, pool on site, breakfast included, sledge for kids available, free coffee/tea in lobby, plan of the town available together with the excursion leaflets.
Food was not great (dry, often tasteless, expensive), no carpet on the scratched floor (room), lots of large groups of noisy one-night-stay tourists, we were unlucky to come down to pool/sauna to a group of young men occupying sauna and popping out from time to time to drink alcohol in glass bottles/glasses on the edge of the pool and listening to own music out loud = a bit disturbing especially if you are with children; unable to relax as planned)

The room was excellent, really comfortable and clean and had a nice view of Kirkenes. The hotel itself is in a great place for getting to/from the airport and the cruise terminal. The breakfast was exceptional!
