the decor is a bit old fashioned

The welcome from staff was personal and warm, particularly our waiter at dinner and breakfast. The palms, grotto, vineyard and mini museum of agricultural equipment were extraordinary. Tomtom sent us the wrong way but it was so worthwhile working out how to get there. A historic hotel, great views over the lake with sparkling lights at night and light morning mist. Lovely balcony. Would be perfect for travelling by train.

The shower was very clean and spacious which was nice after hiking the nearby mountains. The bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive, and breakfast was very good and provided lots of options

very small room, strange, not able-to-shut accordion-like shower door, no bath mat, only one towel.

Beautiful garden and pool area. bed and pillows were great and breakfast was also good.

It's very difficult to arrive to the hotel from the train station wooking if you have more than one bage .. to take a Taxi from city center you must spend €25 to 30 .
