Very central. On site parking was a big plus. Modern and well maintained building & rooms. Decorated to a high standard. Staff were all very helpful, friendly and polite. Cocktails were lovely.

Only very small things & can only think of minor things. Breakfast: coffee was cool when poured & the fried eggs we had didn’t have runny yolks. However, breakfast was otherwise very tasty. We would certainly stay here again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice.

Two other couples were in our party and although our room was large with good facilities one of the couples room was small with much less included (ie a fridge). It didn't spoil our few days break but it would have been better if we all had the better rooms.

Great location as many food outlets and bars nearby. Checkin staff were excellent and friendly. Easy checkin process. Good size room and an excellent bar at the hotel and a great breakfast available

We picked this hotel because it was a good location near the hospital as we had a early appointment

I asked for a ground floor room as my daughter is in a wheelchair and has mobility issues and we were put in a room on the first floor along the end of a long corridor The lift is really small we had to fold the wheelchair and make 3 trips in the lift

Heat in room was unbearable went to reception they said I’d need a fan, still waiting on it, breakfast the following morning was a disaster. Queuing up, ran out of eggs, had to wait 5 mins, then was no bread to make toast. Once I finally got my plate filled with what I wanted there was no glasses for the orange juice. He set at a small pokey table with a loose leg and not enough room for my son and i’s plate. Was finally then asked tea or coffee to get poured a cold cup of tea. I’ve stayed here several times but over the past year has went downhill dramatically! When leaving this morning broken glass smashed all at front steps. Run by students who really don’t care!

Breakfast was lovely - was really impressed that there were veggie options, and a great continental selection as well as full English buffet. The room size was good, although the bed was a little hard but that is just personal preference. Staff were great - friendly and attentive

Noise - we had a street facing room & could hear the pubs across the road until quite late.

The location was ok.

Room was dirty make up and hair was all over the bathroom. There was old rice all over the carpets. There were flies in the room. The wood work looked like there was tea and coffee all over it. Breakfast was a challenge. There was nobody there to take room numbers. Sat down only for a member of staff to then appear to move me. Had to search for ppl to bring tea and coffee. The mugs were filthy badly tea stained.

Well located within easy access to multiple places to eat. Easy to find. Close to local amenities

The property does have a lift,however this needs attention as it clearly has issues due to the 'if you go get stuck between floors ring this number" sign inside the lift. It also stopped working all together during out stay which is not ideal as someone who has mobility issues. Also the lift is tiny and I doubt a wheel chair user could use it due to its design. I feel this is the only let down of this hotel. The lift either needs replacing or regular maintenance.
