it wasn’t quite clean, had to redo the bathroom before using it, shower was broken and there was no more hairdryer available at the desk

No restaurant available for evening meal, bed very old and uncomfortable, room tired, floor sticky, toilet didn't work properly. Not what we expect from Campanile.

Staff exceptional.

Facilities, old, tired and poor. Guest standing outside our door smoking which is where the cigarette bin was located instead of being across the car park and away from the rooms. We asked to buy a wine to drink in our room, pre dinner, around 5ish and we're told we would have to wait until dinner was served at 7pm

great location and the ability to park outside your room is useful. very basic and tired decor but has everything you need and excellent value for money. was clean and simple

a refurb would make it ideal but may push price up so it does what it needs to for an overnight rest stop.

Dining room was closed on both mystays

Receptionist could not have been more helpful. Gave us a map and directions where to eat, very friendly. A complete opposite to the one at St Quentin . Breakfast excellent . Will book again.😃

Open restaurant of an evening at weekends

Nothing. It was the most awful hotel we've ever stayed in. It is situated in an enormous industrial estate, quite a revolting area. Despite saying that the restaurant was open every evening it was closed at weekends!!! Try finding a restaurant in an industrial estate! On Friday morning I received a mail saying the Air Con. wasn't working - it still wasn't on Saturday so the room was stifling. No air whatsoever. The room was minute, no hair dryer included ( one had to ask at reception) , no hand towels. The reception was appalling - one felt they were school students doing a Saturday job. They had no idea how to interact with clients.. I strongly suggest you remove it from your list of recommended hotels. In my opinion you should have mentioned its location, we would never have reserved in such a dreadful location.

The staff on reception where very professional and obliging. The reception area and restaurant where what you would expect from a Campanile Hotel. The bed was comfortable.

The hotel room was very disappointing, it was not like other Campanile Hotels we have stayed in. Well past time it was fully refurbished. It was very tatty and the bathroom old.

Very little - the breakfast was good. It was quiet.

The property does not appear to have been refurbished since the 1980s? Very shabby, though it seemed clean enough. I would not rate as 3*, more as 2* - seems expensive.

There was no coffee/ tea sugar in the room. I asked ground flour for which was confirmed, but we had to climb up the stairs

The rooms are very shabby looking and could definitely do with updating and a good paintjob! the staff were very friendly and we had a good evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant. Parking is al readily available all around the premises.

The state of the room was disappointing.

The staff were great. The evening meal was excellent as was the continental breakfast (value for money at €10).

Think 'Bates Motel' for the type of building. Individual rooms leading out. The building and rooms were very tired. The mattress on the bed was lumpy and soft. Light bulbs missing and everything quite tatty. The location was on an industrial estate.
