The location and staff were superb. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location ideal for exploring The New Forest. Food was fabulous.

Our room was not cleaned one day same towel’s for 4 Days towel rail not working, no Ala carte menu in the evening same menu as in the bar, no table cloths on the tables in main restaurant as some of the tables were quite poor looking, staff in Restaurant not very efficient,and i don’t agree with putting a service on my bill for every little thing, if I wish to tip the staff I wil.No happy about my bill taken from my account before I left.

Room was over the dining room and bar, on last night it was quite noisy until 12.30, made it difficult to sleep.

Room wasn't made up one day, too many dogs, seem to be everywhere on the ground floor although they weren't noisy. No light menu offered in the bar after 5.30pm, although chef did provide a lighter meal one night on request.

I had booked accomodation for being away with work. I was in room 8 on the ground floor. Comfortable bed, great shower room/toliet. Good reception from staff on arrival.

Room however was small (not a lot of floor space) and gap between end of bed and wall (which you had to walk between to get to toilet) was narrow. Having to ask the same staff member twice for a receipt.

Maybe be able to have the tapas menu throughout the evening for the bar. Nice to have the option rather than a full dinner menu.

the entire environment was lovely and the staff so polite and charming. four of us stayed in two lovely dog friendly rooms on the ground floor.

the cost of food and drink. we had a bottle of sparkling water on the sun terrace and were charged £16 for the pleasure. Ice must be a rare commodity. We had dinner at the Inn and it was really lovely but at a price tag of £280 for food and drink it should be. I’m disappointed that such a lovely stay was tainted on check out with such a large bill. I expect to pay for good food and drink but feel this was extreme. we have had better value at the Ivy. sadly it will put me off recommending a stay.

Extremely attentive and professional table staff.

Wonderful service all the staff are polite efficient and helpful. The room was nice and the bed extremely comfortable. The food in both the bar and restaurant was excellent. Very tasty dinner and breakfast. We would highly recommend.

It would be nice to have more comfortable seating in the hotel bar area. Somewhere to relax
