Great location - an easy walk into town. The room was clean and comfortable with a private patio area. Great to have laundry facilities and a kitchen space shared by guests.

Our room was not as accessible given that we have a toddler with us.

The location was great. But beyond that not much else was good

Many things. Most of all though was the complete lack of interest by all the staff to actually provide help or answers. There was no clarity on what was available to order, with several menus in the room and no details on which was for room service. Even restaurants that were not available any more were there. When we finally found out where to order food to the room, the staff at the restaurant laughed at us stating that of course they didn't provide food to the rooms. (Which we found out later that they actually do - it just seemed that no one knew what was up and or down). We tried to raise this with the staff, but were met with an attitude of being interrupted - and sort of 'not my problem' - and that was both evening and morning staff.

Amazing location, can not be beaten. Wānaka is gorgeous and you can walk to everything from this hotel. My daughter loves the lake and playground which is less than a 2 min walk. The Mexican place was really nice next door. The laundry was excellent we did all our washing easily. The communal kitchen was great for extra bowls and forks etc. the green space outside was excellent for our 4 year old.

The air con in the room was difficult to operate. We think it kicked in later that night and the room got warm.
