L'Hooker Hotel est une nouvelle fabuleuse SUITE (appartement de location de vacances privée) de 2 chambres king conçue, construite et décorée dans le plus pur style du delta par des artisans locaux. Le 745 pieds carrés, le niveau du sol (pas d'escalier) à plat est nouvellement construits dans la Période 1897 Clarksdale Telegraph Building au deuxième et Delta dans le cœur de la ville Historic District. Disposant de 2 grandes chambres privées avec matelas BeautyRest et Magic Fingers, planchers de bois franc, cabine de salle à manger d'un restaurant classique, élégant canapé en cuir et une chaise surdimensionnée, 4 pieds X 5 pieds de galets de rivière personnalisé douche, nouvelle salle de bain et de la vanité, du chauffage central et climatisation, réfrigérateur, four à gaz et cuisinière, cafetière, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, internet sans fil haut débit, TV HD à écran plat avec DirecTV, et stéréo. 400 comptage 100% draps en coton, Oreillers hypoallergéniques, et 100% des serviettes de bain en coton. Venez faire un tour chez Dockery Plantation et retournez à Clarksdale de 15 h 30 à 16 h pour vous reposer. The Hooker Hotel is a comfortable accommodation for four people. The decor is 100% local blues including guitars in the bedrooms. The location within the city is great but the city of Clarksdale is a little sketchy (not a knock on the Hooker Hotel). Anyhow, check-in/checkout could not have been easier and the pre and post communication was excellent. My only complaints about the Hotel itself were 1. WiFi Internet in the building was so bad that it was unusable and 2. the bathroom sink leaks. Both were reported and we were told that both would be fixed. Overall, the Hooker Hotel was an easy, pleasant place to stay. If we return to Clarksdale, we will stay there again.

The Hooker Hotel is a perfect base of operations for visiting Clarksdale. It's right in the center of the action and everything worth seeing in Clarksdale is an easy walk. If you love blues music (a good assumption if you are visiting Clarksdale) the Hooker Hotel allows you to fully immerse yourself in the blues culture and atmosphere. The property itself is practically a blues themed art exhibit. Funky and comfortable in a way that you need to experience to fully appreciate. If you are heading to Clarksdale and the Hooker Hotel is available book it now - it's a hoot.

We stayed at Hooker Hotel. The pictures are great but don’t do it justice. Very eclectic and super welcoming. A lot of thought was put into the design. It is close enough to walk to Ground Zero -Red’s- Delta Blues Museum-Hooker Grocer & Eatery and anything else you wanted to do. Price is great. We will be back!!!

This place was so cool! We thought we were in the lobby of a hotel but no it was our room. Very clean and very well decorated! We loved being right downtown walking distance to everything. We had such a great time just sitting in front of our room people watching. Very easy to check in and out! Great communication, we will be back for sure!

Uniquely wonderful experience
A wonderful find after a loooong couple of driving days. Colorful, imaginative, yet steeped in history, the Hooker Hotel also balances cleanliness, thoughtful touches, and a sense of comfort and security for travelers. Not to be missed.

Great place, bad timing
The Hooker was funky, spacious, and right the middle of Clarksdale. Great place. However, there was almost nothing going on on a hot Tuesday night in June. One place with music. Ground Zero and Reds closed. No restaurants open in town for dinner. Could see the evidence of history and culture, but lots of closed signs and locked doors. Could be cool, but not tonight. Oh well.

Fantastic!
We loved everything about this property, one night was not long enough! Clean, cool and plenty of space. Can’t beat the location. It is on the street so there is some street noise but this did not bother us. Highly recommend!

All about the Blues!
We absolutely loved the property. The artwork that filled the walls was certainly a surprise and much appreciated. It was very comfortable and location was perfect. We look forward to staying here again.

Perfect Delta Blues Accomod
This is a really cool apartment to stay in the middle of all that Clarksdale offers. It’s very comfortable with plenty of space for 4. We parked our car and walked everywhere. We enjoyed live music at 2 juke joints, shopping, and great food at nearby restaurants. The apartment is well appointed and very unique, capturing the groove of the Clarksdale area.

Most unique place to stay!
Stayed at both Hooker Hotel and Squeeze Box. I can't say enough about these accommodations! Clean, convenient, unique. Everything provided for an awesome stay in Clarksdale - even some local beverage! Communication with owner was great, check-in, check-out was easy. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely return!

It has it all
My husband and friend stayed here and it was the highlight of their trip. They had everything they needed, were comfortable like being at home, and the decor was so fun. My non-decorator husband now has ides to redo his man cave. They loved this town and Hooker Hotel was a fabulous experience.

Full of character
We stayed for 1 night (2 couples) and were taken with the 'shabby' decor and the atmosphere in the property. Full marks to the owner.
The welcome beers and water were a nice touch. The beds were comfy.
The only issue we had was that the water in the property ran out while the fourth member of the group was trying to shower (me). There was nothing left to even boil a kettle.
Otherwise, we had a great time there, as it was a short walk to the Blues Museum, Ground Zero Club in the evening and the diner around the corner for breakfast.

Great stay
First night got off to a rocky start the ac was not working but contacted John and he took care of it in a timely manner. Limo had a flat tire to go to the Ground Zero Club but the walk is easy and fun. You get to see so much more. Overall my friends , spouse and I had a blast. Love the vibes everywhere from the Hooker Hotel where we stayed to Hambone. Will visit soon.

Unexpected Treasure
We were fleeing mid-April tornados and vicious thunderstorms in southern Mississippi as we cut our visit there short. We've been to Clarksdale several times but had never had the chance to stay at the Hooker Hotel. We called John to see if it was available on last-minute notice, and luckily, it was! What a delight the John Lee Hooker-themed rooms were, the up-to-date kitchen, the spacious shower, and the convenience of being able to step right out the door onto Second Avenue. We will definitely be back!
