Bedside drawer didn't close properly and kept coming open. Had to prop my suitcase against it to keep it shut. Would enhance the set up to have an aerosol air freshner in the bathroom /toilet.

Room clean and well laid out; bed comfortable, continental breakfast OK.

Looking for somewhere to stay last minute (ish) and saw this place. We had an event in Cardiff so it was a great location for that. Great value for money too! we didn’t have much interaction with the staff as we were in and out quite quick on arrival but incredibly helpful when we spoke with them.

Staff were amazingly friendly and attentive.

We found everything was very good

The room was much larger than anticipated with great facilities. The bed was very comfortable, almost too comfortable! The room was clean, although the carpet could have done with a deep clean as there were a few stains. Nice tea and coffee facilities, plenty of parking and a fantastic location for visiting the local areas. The welcome pack in the room was detailed which meant we didn't need to ask the lovely host any questions as it was all available there. Great value overall. I forgot to put an ETA when I booked the room, however I received a text from the host to enquire about arrival time. This really shows its a family run business which I'm always happy to support. We will definitely be returning in future.

Unfortunately room 9 and 10 have a door which joins the two together. This means that if you have a very noisy family in room 9, you can hear absolutely everything. This wouldn't have been much of an issue if they hadn't been awake until very late, throwing coins into a glass right by the door. I did get a little annoyed by this and perhaps said that it was annoying me a little too loudly to my partner. Room 9 must have heard as the air had been let out of my tyre when we left early the next morning. This was the only real downside to our overnight stay and I think if we had been in a different room I wouldn't have anything negative to say at all.
