Great location, clean, simple check in

Motel is very near the Scenic World and a short drive to the centre where restaurants and shops are located. Family room is spacious. Cleanliness is okay; there were flying insects in the bathroom but no harm nonetheless.

The level of cleanliness has deteriorated significantly. It used to be much cleaner.

Motel is well located to areas of interest in Katoomba. Management staff were pleasant to speak to.

Motel room had a dripping tap and window flyscreen was damaged. Thick Dust above door window and thick on blind. Also. the tea making facilities and fridge was very small. Also, fridge needed defrosting, as it was solid with ice under small freezer section. No sink to wash up cups etc., Had to use sink in bathroom. Car parking was not dedicated to a room. Had to park some distance away from where room was located, until someone moved their car nearer room location.

It was a very comfortable motel with parking near to Echo Point and the 3 sisters. Our room had a sofa, fridge, kettle and microwave. It was air conditioned for the summer months and a heated blanket for the colder ones. There is no staff at the hotel - checkin is done remotely. If any problems there is an intercom near to ‘old’ reception area.

It was a 20 min walk into town which wasn’t a problem for us, but there is a bus stop near to hotel.

Location was very good, easy access to all the lookouts and restaurants. Room was clean and well presented.

Beds were very uncomfortable. The room didn’t have much natural light and was tucked in a congested area of the building.

The motel was pretty close to Scenic World and most of the waterfalls. There was a Microwave at the motel which was a plus and not many motels have one. The proximity to the shops (Coles, Woolies and ALDI) made it easy to go to the shops when needed.

Couldn’t keep the moths out of the bathroom even though the bathroom window had a screen on. Bed and pillows were a bit hard but I guess that’s standard for motels.

The only thing that could have been better was the shower controls lacking indications about how to use them.

Clean and comfortable unit.

The unit was not very spacious but for a 1 night stay, I’m happy with it.
