this place is an amazing historic mansion which was constructed back in the 19th century! very beautiful Spanish colonial architecture and well maintained. very clean and staff was amazing! seriously I think the staff are of the best I’ve seen.

I wish the owners of this place rewarded their staff better because they really deserve it.

Elegant Hotel. I appreciated the bus transfer to the hotel. Dining room excellent. Helpful staff. Hotel controlled mosquitoes well.

The room was clean and cool and comfortable, we loved walking around the grounds and we even played pool!

We would have appreciated some non-dairy milk for our coffee and an option for a vegan breakfast/meal.

Some confusion about "breakfast included vs. not" however manager offered some discount to appease me. Lots of steps around property + very steep cobbled entryway up to main level/reception - - problem for some. First of MANY bug bites when out doors in El Fuerte!!

Beautiful setting with lovely gardens ( lots of hummingbirds) including a pool which was great to cool off in. Good food available. it was great to sleep in a comfortable bed.

Hotel provided free transportation from the train station. Room decorations excelled expectations. Hotel itself has some nice story. Food was good. Personal friendly. Location was great.

Amount of mosquitoes is unreal. A good repeler is really needed. I can't stress this enough.

Woken every morning at 4am by cockerels - there is a farm next door Over staffed and over priced

Just about everything. The hotel oozes history with hidden courtyards and crammed full of curiosities. Don't forget the town museum and also the Malecon along side the river. Nobody mentions that.

At this price I would expect a kettle/coffee maker in the room and fridge. Internet a little flaky We stayed 3 nights, not cheap, and we were moving on via El Chepe to the sister hotel near Divisidaro which was extremely expensive. When we asked if he ran a shuttle to the El Fuerte station to catch El Chepe he said 'yes, you can have it for free but you must eat breakfast'. Considering that, in total, we were going to spend over £600 in Bolderrama Hotels over the next 6 nights we were a tad miffed that he should make such a pitiful demand.

Beautiful historic property in an excellent location just off the plaza. Transportation to|from El Chepe included. Very clean rooms.
