Staff, hotel vibe, space, thai style, not cramped like a lot of modern resorts but good facilities. Very good value for money, decent breakfast again for budget. The owner who is quite elderly is still very friendly, hands on and chats to the guests and it shows in her staff attitude, helpfulness they are or are like family. They learned from a wise person who invested a lifetime in a lovely hotel

Sadly ARK Bar has moved next door, noise is mostly tolerable am sure the owners are doing their best to mitigate and control, but being Thailand and the live and let live vibe it can be difficult for people staying on that side of the resort. Just a personal issue I hate really hard beds and really struggled with this. It is a common problem in Thailand and for some this could be a major sleep issue. One room key in this day and age is annoying but again a small thing

הוילונות בחדר לא היו אטומים לאור אז למי שחשוב לו חושך מוחלט זה לא המצב. המזרן בחדר היה קשה מאד ולא נוח. ביקשתי שיוסיפו מזרן ואכן הוסיפו. לציין שבחדר השני שבו שהו הילדים, המזרונים היו בסדר.

First of all, there was nothing we didn’t like about this hotel! Chaweng garden beach resort gave us everything we needed! Staying there for 7 days was one of our best choice! -Staff was so friendly and very helpful! -Next to nice clear sandy beach! -2 nice swimming pools with amazing bars! -Good location! -5 mins walk to Central festival! -Delicious food! Special thanks to the hotel staff who made my birthday and also our anniversary so special!

Only one thing we didn’t like was we couldn’t stay any longer! :) One thing, the hotel is located next to Ark bar beach hotel, so before booking the room please check which rooms have affected with the music from them. We wouldn’t mind as we already learned about it and also communicated with the hotel staff :)

The breakfast buffet was amazing. The grounds and rooms very clean. The staff were very accommodating. They even changed our bed mattress as we found it too firm. Nothing was a problem.

Happy hour at the Monkey Pool Bar was extremely busy some days and a bit of a wait when ordering a cocktail.

Loved the staff, the breakfast and the facilities! Pretty much everything was amazing except that our room was so close to the bar next door that we had to wear earplugs to bed, and also our beds were very hard. Other than those two things we couldn’t rate this resort higher, had the best time and would stay again! Loved Min at the pool bar and Zaw at the beach, so much fun!

Bed was too hard and noise from the night club next door.

Nice beach with good staff providing deck chairs and shade. Breakfast, professional and effective staff. at front desk. Nice pool bar at the "long" pool.

Beach pool too small, smelly two stroke service carts = why are they not electrical? Room cleaning was so so and we did not get fresh towels on our last day. Noise from Arkbar and Airport is obviously not the resorts fault.

We stayed at this resort before and I have to say it was as good as last time. Perfect location! Staff are so professional and amazing. Nice food and breakfast buffet. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful older resort with lots of solid wood furnishings. A lot of extra touches went into making a stay here extra nice. Excellent staff, always pleasant and helpful. Rooms were a good size with everything you need. Beds were extra firm but I found them super comfy. Balcony was huge and nicely furnished. Lots of English speaking TV channels. Plenty of loungers on the beach and around the two pools. Breakfast was ample and well presented. Beach is stunning. A few minor things could use modernizing (i.e., room keys, etc.) but nothing major. If you want to be in the middle of the action in Chaweng you can't pick a better hotel/resort. If you want quiet nights, look elsewhere. I can't wait to return.

Key deposit required 1,000 baht cash but it is returned to you when you surrender your key at checkout.

Loved the beach location and the pools. The rooms are large and comfortable.

Some of the rooms have the old air conditioners and they are not able to cool the rooms during the heat wave. The staff was great and moved us to a room with a new air conditioner.

Beautiful location on beach , close to bars and nightlife.lovely pool, and pool bar.. I read some reviews where noise was mentioned from the bar next door but we didn't find it too bad at all.

The beach was beautiful, the pool was nice and the location was excellent! The room was really nice also.

It’s our third time staying here. We absolutely love this resort. It’s a central location, great beach, pools, breakfasts, staff, rooms, everything. Beach out one gate and shops, bars restaurants out the other.
