Enjoyed the locations we visited - Daintree, Port Douglas, Hartley's Crocodile Farm,Josephine Falls, Kuranda Skyrail and Botanical Gardens.

The weather was quite rainy for the duration of our visit.

great location and the the owners were lovely also amazing Chinese restaurant attached to the place.

the place is very run down bins were always smelly and full and there wasn’t really a sufficient amount of bins at the property. the amenities in the room need fixing like tap handles and my bathroom door got stuck so I was stuck in the bathroom I needed someone to push on the door from the outside hard. when travelling with a large family i Think the rooms need fridges bigger than a bar fridge the bar fridge also didn’t work fantastic our toaster was broken and the tvs are all old and out dated. there also isn’t a lift or anything to access the top level so people who are disabled or hurt like my partner who had a broken foot had to use crutches up and down the stairs which was unsafe he almost fell down plenty of times. the washing machines are quite old and didn’t clean the clothes properly and you pay to use these ones I’ve never had to at a hotel before but if they were upgraded and worked better than it wouldn’t be an issue but there is also only 2 which isn’t enough for the amount of guests there. yes the price was cheap and the location was good but the place needs serious renovations done. it was also gross having people the next room down smoking outside the rooms we don’t smoke and it was yuck walking through it and having to smell it. someone also put our rubbish back outside our room which I didn’t find ok that’s creepy and rude.

The location was not that bad. The place has great potential. I understand the new management has done a lot of work restoring the place. I would concentrate on getting the rooms sorted 1st then working on the grounds.

2 people have to share 1 knife. Nothing to cook with except a large pot. We put the please clean room sign out 3 days in a row and was ignored 3 days in a row. There were lots of little things which when combined became annoying. But that was it annoying and we didn't let it affect our holiday.

Affordable for families, reasonable location as we didn't have to travel too far for activities, staff were accommodating and wonderful

Helen and Darren were so obliging and very helpful. They offered to take us to the coach station very early in the morning. Very generous offer and willingly accepted!

The location suited us. Room was clean and tidy.

The double/queen was a little tired.

Simple but comfy room with everything we needed for a night stay. Very clean and good beds. Aircon and fan available too.
