Fantastic view, great clean hotel and convenient.

A lot of stairs to climb, but not a problem.

Comfy room,modern, sea view, great staff. The Wifi is great, mini fridge in the room was a bonus, tower fan and the bathroom was clean and modern.

There are drunk people hanging around at the bus stop till late night making noise, police doesn't care.

The staff were polite and helpful. The room was well decorated and well-appointed.

The lack of parking. The narrowness of the room and the fact that that meant the bed was hard against the wall and was awkward to get in and out of during the night.

Amazingly equipped room and bathroom. They had cotton pads, cotton swabs and tissues. You got 2 chairs, one smaller on under the table. One was a really comfy one placed to the ocean view.

The ventilation system in the bathroom didn't switch off. With carbon footprint in mind, that would be great to solve. Otherwise amazing!

Perfect location, very clean & qhiet

The only issue we had was the shower cubicle was very small

The hotel was on the sea front and the room directly faced and overlooked the sea. TV and coffee/tea and kettle provided. Ensuite bathroom was small but adequate. Good value for money for a two night stay.

Room was narrow and small and on the 3rd floor,s o a long way up

very clean and tidy bed was very comfortable we had a great night sleep. location was also spot on 2 3 minutes from theatre. 5 minutes to town 12 minutes to the old town and of course right on the promanard a nice sea view.

No lift. Only a couple of hangers to hand clothes on hooks. Not a problem for us as we only stayed 1 night but would be tricky if staying longer.

Stayed at Astral Lodge once before and enjoyed it so thought we'd book again. Excellent beachfront location with short walk to shops, bars, restaurants etc.. It looks like the place has been refurbished a bit so very fresh looking hotel.. Staff very friendly on arrival and departure. No complaints at all and will book again on next trip to Hastings. Highly recommend and good value for money - Well run establishment!!

Nice location sea views clean tidy

The hotel was very clean. The room was immaculate. We were on our honeymoon. The staff were friendly and offered to help us with anything we wanted. They cleaned our room even though we didn't ask. They went above and beyond. The hotel is located right across the road from the sea and the view is stunning. There's no car park but the 24 hour car park is outside underneath the road. I recommend this hotel. The shops and restaurants are behind the hotel and it's only a 10 minute walk to town centre. The room has a TV which also plays the radio so we never watched anything. It's nice to sleep with the curtains open so you can see the stars and sea. We're coming back in summer.

It was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was well set up with the mezzanine floor for the double bed. The balcony was an added bonus.
