Good Location, very clean, comfortable, good food

We liked the spacious room with a sea view, the very friendly staff, the delicious breakfast and everything else.

The room service took 45 min, at least we were informed beforehand.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty and there was a large variety of options. The pool was clean and there were a lot of activities available.

I would have liked more music/entertainement (like the Carribean Night that was fantastic!), The concierge spent the first 2 days of our stay pushing us to attend a sales talk. We were harrassed into this talk and instead of offering us membership options and giving us some time to think about it, the salesman was harrassing us for 90 minutes in such a way that I didn't feel comfortable enrolling in the program. At the end of the talk, we did not even get to keep the information sheet he presented us and the salesman was clearly unhappy when we asked him for a couple days to think about the offer. The concierge was nowhere to be seen after that sales presentation.

The suite was very spacious, had a nice view and was very clean! With the all-in we could, after easy reservation, dine at the a-la-carte Trattoria restaurant. Our kids loved the kids club, it was nice and cosy. The pools were great! Nice size and mostly enough seats.

The main restaurant was very noisy and the waiters were a bit to busy for ordering drinks. The hotel area was very loud in the evening from surrounding hotels/party boats. The air-conditioning in the room made so much noise we woke up all the time when it switched on. And the "low" setting was too loud, we couldn't here each other talking.

The nice room that we had. The balcony and the kitchen. The ocean view from the balcony. Everyone was really nice. And it was quiet it wasn't like some of the busier hotels it was very nice and warm.

Villandy was really nice. Appreciated her. We had a nice time at the sister hotel in Cancun, but I wish we had known about the sister hotel in playa del Carmen. We may have went to that one instead. But we still had a nice time at the other one. I actually enjoyed staying at our hotel because when we did go to the other hotel people could not go into the ocean because it was too dangerous. But at our hotel we could always go into the ocean at any time. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. The only thing is that we ended up having to change our room. And we did not know that beforehand. Until we got to the check-in desk. But it ended up turning out in our favor because we got a better room. But it might be good to just let patrons know in advance with both letters or something because it was kind of unexpected. The guy who was marketing the condo to us was really nice too. I think his name was Bob?? Great stay. I would definitely recommend it! Valerie Redmond

staff was friendly, rooms were nice, clean, everything worked Rooms had full kitchens, I didn't really use it since I got the all inclusive package. But for a family who plans on cooking it would be great. The pool and beach were not crowded ant time I was there. Was a very relaxing environment.

Food was not good, Really need to hire better chefs. Drinks were not made with fresh juice. Drinks tasted like they were made with powder mixes. I asked a waiter & he confirmed - not fresh juice. (My Tequila sunrise tasted like tang) Food was inconsistent. Half the time it was not good at all. And you could order the same dish 3 times and get something different every time. They would not deliver alcoholic drinks to your room when ordering room service. REALLY??! When calling room service, I often had to call over & over again or call the front desk to get a hold of someone in that department. They also only have 2 restaurants on site, one with reservations only. I feel they could have explained the shuttle service between resorts better and especially when booking dinner reservations at the other resorts.

Very clean, very comfy, all the facilities you will need, 2 pools, right next to the beach you cannot go wrong with this place. We only stayed for one night i was actually sad to leave i wish we booked the whole stay.

Early morning noise, people drag trolleys, talking etc basically maintence working is being carried out in the early morning around 5-6am and the windows need double glazing. This can pervert one from getting a good rest.
