Location was very good for somebody who likes to be very central, just off the heart of the central tourist area of Stellenbosch. A very neat well-furnished property, rooms as well as public areas. Good lighting in the rooms. Quiet at night as in a side street. Pleasant staff, good security and a good breakfast. Nice easy jog or walk along the river. Relatively easy to reach by car. Once there, once can easily walk the central and university area of Stellenbosch, important given traffic congestion and limited parking.

The pool is tiny, but this is usual when one has a central location in Stellenbosch.

Locatie. Historic interior. Some (not all) of the rooms were very nice.

We got 4 rooms located quite apart, with one room significantly less comfortable than the other 3. Communication was a bit chaotic and unclear.

Great location. Room big and the bed extremely comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.

Breakfast was very poor On one occasion one breakfast consisted of one egg and one slice of tomato when asking for toast they told us that there was no bread.

It was comfortable and clean.

Not good value for money! We have stayed at various guest houses and hotels in Stellies as our daughter attends the university but we thought that we would stay somewhere extra-special due to it being our wedding anniversary. It didn't meet expectations as far as a luxurious boutique hotel is concerned. It is more of a comfortable guest house. Very over-priced in terms of the room, the service and the breakfast offered.

Themba was a fantastic host! I enjoyed the ambiance and stillness of the place. Breakfast was exquisite.

Apart from the inconvenience of Loadshedding, I think if you can cover your pool, it will remain clear of leaves and dirt for longer period.

Amazing location. Bathroom is nice, room was big and spacious. Breaskfast is OK.

The bed could be a little better, the furniture was quite old, but there was no mold or bad smells due to that.

The house manager Temba tried very hard to compensate our disappointment of the original description of the hotel.
