Jacqui's hospitality was second to none and the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms was impressive. I would have loved to stay a little longer to enjoy the beaches which was right in front of us. Next time!!

Not much Clean specially the microwave I got left over rake away just about to heat up .when I saw the microwave was disgusting..gross too dirty 🥵

Bedroom tv and remote weren’t user friendly. A little road noise and unfortunately not the view we were hoping for.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Quiet room which was very well appointed. Plenty of space. Clean towels and toileries every day. Good parking just near the room.

We stayed in Nelson for four days and at Beaches for three nights. We selected Beaches as closer to the Tahunanui Beach and were not disappointed. The facility is very clean and rooms comfortable and well stocked. Initially the traffic sounds in our second floor room were a concern but were greatly reduced by heavy sliding doors and curtains. The management of Beaches is exceptional. Jackie and her partner Glenn are very friendly and within a few minutes you feel like family. Both are helpful in suggesting local places to see and dining opportunities. We were kindly offered rides to/from the airport as well as local sites if we needed. Taxi availability in Nelson is poor. Jackie really made this trip special for us.

The facility is on Highway 6 which is the major road to and from Nelson. It is used for heavy (logging) commercial traffic as well as local traffic.
