cosey, homey, super friendly and charming landlady welcoming you with open arms. wonderful homemade french toast served every morning. all this made our trip so worthwhile. we would like to come back again.

we liked everything! It’s a super nice guesthouse with a beautiful garden, lovely and very helpful owner and the location is excellent on a quiet street with 150 m to the Bayeux tapestry museum and 300m to the centre with the cathedral. Breakfast is absolutely delicious with several sorts of bread, croissants, home made jams and even freshly made French toast.

Lovely and helpful host. Great breakfast. Nice house and garden. Very friendly and comfortable surroundings. Very close to town and really good restaurants. Host made dinner reservations for us and was very willing to give help and suggestions. This was a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Very pleasant stay in Bayeux. Great location near the tapestry museum, a beautiful, peaceful garden, and a very welcoming host who gave us all the information we needed and some more. Breakfast was excellent and very generous.

Location was really good as so close to centre. Parking was off road and behind gates, make sure you book though. Breakfast was great. Frankly Diane could not have done more to make our stay comfortable.

It was all good although a large man might have been somewhat restricted!

Convenient to everything, including train station and town center yet very quiet. Attractive and atmospheric property with a mix of buildings of different ages and a large garden. Breakfast very generous. Host was informative and helpful.

Fantastic location in the middle of Bayeux, within walking distance from all the must-see places and cafés/restaurants! Very authentic French interior design of the rooms with that personal touch and close attention to details, very cosy and romantic. We had a specific time slot for breakfast which was served in a lush and gorgeous dining room in the main house. The breakfast was generous with a large selection of different items to enjoy. The hostess was very helpful, welcoming and nice - we really enjoyed talking with her and the children loved to pet her little dog named Gus! The house garden was like an oasis in the middle of the town and offered a nice relaxing rest after a day out and about.

The host was very helpful in getting us a tour of the Normandy beaches the first day we arrived. Every day, we had a delicious and filling breakfast. The B&B is within convenient walking distance to the nearby Bayeux tapestry museum and to other sites, shopping and restaurants

The location for Aggarthi is incredible. Walk several blocks and you're in the thick of things in Bayeux. We drove our rental car and they provided a safe parking place for us. Bayeux is an incredible town that we really enjoyed. Aggarthi provided a home away from home to enjoy our stay to the fullest. And the breakfast was out of this world!!

The only thing that could have made our stay better would have been air conditioning. Visiting France in the summer can be a challenge, but that was the only scenario we faced in terms of comfort. It did cool off overnight, but leaving the windows open also introduced general street noise.

The wonderful host, Diane, was full of helpful advice about excellent places to visit. She even got us a reservation for a very busy restaurant. The breakfast was superb- with fresh eggs from her chickens and dealing competently with food allergies. Free Wi-Fi helped my teenagers. On arrival, that the room was cool on a very hot day just shows her level of thoughtfulness.

The Aggarthi was a cozy, comfortable bed and breakfast in a wonderful location in Bayeux. Our hostess was incredibly informative and helpful. The breakfast was prepared with cared and served in a lovely dining room. Great value!

We absolutely loved staying at this sweet BnB in Bayeaux! You enter a large gate that gives you no clue as to what is on the other side and then you are surprised and delighted to find a beautiful garden and sweet kitties napping in the sun. The garden is so pretty and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and spacious - we had two, one for my husband and me and one for our 3 kids. They all had a bed and were happy to have a little more room than usual on our trip. The Inn is located right in the heart of Bayeux so it was really easy to explore and find a great restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was delicious and our host was super helpful with directions and suggestions for Bayeux and our continued journey. I would definitely stay here again and again!

The host knew all of the best tourist attractions and helped us plan out a fun and full day every day we were there. She also was able to get us a car rental. Super accommodating and helpful. Would recommend to anybody!!
