great facilities and great location

Location is excellent, just about 400 meters from South Taisheng Road metro station. You also can reach main interesting points by foot. Many stores around the hotel. We also had a great view from our room. Rooms are nice and their size is good. You have kind a "feeling of home" there. Breakfast was very good, and the restaurant staff was very kind and friendly. Lobby is elegant, there are a bar with happy hours every day. Excellent value for money. All in all, we would gladly book this hotel again if we come to Chengdu.

We were there in first half of november and nights were cold, but it was not possible to set a/c to heat the room. Beside the two really nice and friendly guys who were at the reception when we arrived and spoke good English, the rest of the reception staff could do with politeness and some English lessons. Our room safe did not work. We had informed reception after entering the room and they sent a men to fix it, but soon after he left, it was useless again, so we did not use it.

We liked the position after finding the famous Monastery (where we dined 3 times) and all the lovely surrounding little back streets full of charm and pizzazz. All the family enjoyed the breakfast staff service and the Californian Rolls made freshly for them. We caught a DiDi Premium (7seater)from here to visit the Panda Research Station which we absolutely loved! If you are travelling independently as we do, get the help of a young Chinese person to help you sign up for DiDi. There are 5 of us so on occasion we had to hire two taxis and the drives were each time too fast and furious ! With DiDi The driving was impeccable. Google Translate was a huge help and also all of us had a hotel card just in case we got lost.

My family thought the pool area was run down and needed attention. The whole place is a bit dated but very clean and comfortable.

The manager Mr. Cao is great. He is the main reason that we would recommend this hotel.

Location is great and we got updated room which is great.
