Sea view from the rooms and coffee machine in the room

they had provided hardly 1-2 pods for coffee machine and didn refill when asked to refill

-The location of the hotel was very good -Beds were so comfy. -Room was clean. -Everything was alright.

-There was nothing wrong thing I could say

The only positive about this hotel was the central location.

The reception was mostly closed & when it was open they had no local knowledge or any information to offer. It didn't look like the hotel was professionally run. The restaurant was permanently closed. In the bathroom, the toilet had no seat & the flash system was so loud it could be heard outside. The bedroom walls are so thin I can hear next door people snoring.

The staff were very helpful

The hotel is located in a beautiful area with amazing views. It is also close to public bus stops which makes getting around very easy.

There is no lift at the hotel and I had to carry my own luggage up the stairs. Although you could order a hot breakfast, there was not really any side dishes like cheese, ham, salami, etc.

Fantastic stay at Ellan Vannin. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel itself is very clean and tidy, we will be back to stay on a regular basis

Room on 3rd floor. Five flights of stairs. We are both aged in our late 70s Twice by eMail I asked to considered for a lower floor. NOT DONE My partner has poor knees . I did tell you that. We were concerned that in the event of a fire downstairs we would be trapped upstairs. NO FIRE ESCAPE The shower was in the bath and NO handles or support rails Also NO non slip mat. My partner could NOT use the shower, Bad milk on tea / coffee shelf. We left it open and to one side . Also informed reception . Never changed. We were refused breakfast one morning at 10:01. Breakfast items still on display. We were told ''Breakfast 'till 10:only '' We are disappointed at your service to us. But won't bother putting this on Trip advisor

Great location close to buses and right on the promenade. If you like to walk it’s about a 10 minute walk to the steam train and 20 minute walk to the electric train

The public areas could be a bit more welcoming

A very clean and comfortable room, loved being tucked at the back of the building as even though up loads of stairs, it was secluded and quiet. What was amazing was the effort staff went to in accommodating me as a vegan, brekkie options, chocolates AND cakes !! Cant thank them enough for such attention to detail

We were upgraded to a sea view. Liked the king-sized bed, although inevitably the room was then a bit cramped. Early breakfasts (at 7:30) were helpful.

Full breakfast compulsory and a bit steep at £11.95.

Great location overlooking the promenade; we were upgraded to a suite with a sea-view at no additional cost which was fantastic for our anniversary. Staff were accommodating and welcoming.

There were no breakfast menus on the tables, just in the room, despite it being chargeable and the cleaner came into our room as he wasn't aware it was occupied!

Friendly staff, cosy hotel.

Heating could not be adjusted in my room.

The hotel was amazing. It was clean, tidy and welcoming. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, perfect way to start my days out. Acky the barman was friendly and always on hand to help, in and out of the bar. Definitely will be my first choice when revisiting the isle of man.
