It was spotless and exactly as the pictures portrayed. In a previous review someone complained about the trees overshadowing the garden, but in truth all you have to do is just move slightly and you will be in the sun all day. In finishing Darius the owner was a star, nothing was too much trouble. He truly went over and above. To even taking us to a supermarket and waiting while we got the essentials to start us off which he refused payment for !!!!

The villa itself was lovely. Very spacious , light & airy with excellent air-conditioning. The bed was comfortable, plenty of bedding & clean towels. Great pool. Adequate crockery, glasses & utensils in the kitchen. Darius was always available on text & helped us when we needed him. He kindly gave us a lift downtown to collect our hire car.

We have NEVER rented a villa ( & we have rented several ) that did not have an information pack for visitors until we got to Patatas ! No info on using TV, oven or dishwasher ( which didn't wash properly ) no suggestions for cafes or restaurants or details of the nearest supermarkets, pharmacies , hospital etc. There was no advice on what to do with rubbish. Also a better '' welcome pack '' would have been nice, bottle of water, milk perhaps bread instead of a few sachets. No books or DVDs

Huge place with lots of space. Great, new air con in every room. Nice having your own pool and garden space. Darius was really helpful throughout and answered any questions we had. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Nothing major. The place was great. The decor is a little bit dated and could do with modernising. So many switches for lights, could have labels to help understand which one does what? Same for the cupboards, so many wardrobes and kitchen cupboards, could have labels to help find things maybe?

The villa is quite big, lot of space. The swimming pool is quite big, and the water quite comfortable to swim in (temperature wise). The kitchen was properly equipped. Rooms are big, the master bedroom's bathroom is great with a bubble bathtub. There is a ping pong table which was quite fun. Parking place inside the property. Air conditioning was working like a charm. Garden is big and well maintained. Manager of the property is quite reactive to any issue we found.

The location is not great. The streets around the location are not completed yet. Many wild cats around, begging for food each time you eat outside. Couple of garbage containers nearby (on the way to the beach / shop) are a bit smelly (in a New York City kind of way). The house, while great, could benefit from a fresh coat of paint, and occasional repairs. The gym is not usable: the electric hardware was not working, the extraction fan was broken, and as it is not located under the house, but under the terrace outside, it was terribly warm. It was also in a dirty condition when we arrived. The BBQ did not have a grid on it, only could use skewers to cook anything on it.

Beautiful villa - the photos don't do it justice. The scale and the quality of the building is breathtaking. Lovely clean pool although note it's pretty cold in April. Cooker and dishwasher looked brand new. Lots of UK programs on internet TV. Plenty of hot water available. Position is very good - in a nice neighbourhood but only 1 block back from main coast road where there are plenty of shops and supermarkets. There is a nice bar less than 10 mins walk away.

Couple of minor things need to be added - couldn't find any oven gloves or tea towels - can be easily sorted. There was a noisy dog next door - not the fault of this villa or its owner of course.

We traveled with 3 kids in November (3,5 and 5,5 years old). Kids were super happy with swimming pool, big area for playing outside and huge inside facilities. What we felt was missing in the house we got day after. If you want to rent this villa car is absolutely must to have. Otherwise we are supper happy! Definately recomened!
