Spacious room. Good price value. Friendly staff. Late check-in was no problem.

We were lucky to find a parking place in one of the nearby streets. A hotel linked parking spot in this intensely populated suburban area would be preferable.

The accommodation is within easy reach of public transport stops and the room was facing the garden, thus quiet. The service by the staff was friendly and kind, and it was a good choice for the one night for which we needed accommodation while in transit (due to a covid-emergency in the wider family).

The hotel is somewhat run-down, with worn mattresses and an ultra-cheap line of basic food for breakfast. The level of cleanliness in particular could be much improved: there were dustballs and cobwebs everywhere (including in the shower!). It is evident that its location, being about 5 km from the city centre in a somewhat run-down and desolate suburb of Essen, contributes to the somewhat sorry state of the place, but with a little more attention to detail a lot could be improved very quickly.

The staff is very helpful and Khaled was friendly and helping us with the parking for the car.

Good location, quite and perfect for a night or two close to Essen.

Beds are not so "solid" and the showers are not so sparkling clean.
