We had a fantastic stay at Leopard Mountain Lodge. Very luxurious accommodations and attentive staff. Excellent service all around.
It might be part of the service provided, but it was a bit awkward having breakfast with the guides and other people staying there in the morning. There were plenty of tables but they seated us at the same table with other guests and the guides. Perhaps give people a bit more privacy during breakfast.

Graham is the excellent safari guide with amazing "spotting" ability, and for us bird knowledge. All the meals were very good, especially the breakfast. I liked that there was a choice of main courses and that the portions were not too large.
I have only one suggestion to make, and that concerns the plunge pool on the deck. The step into it is quite deep making the pool difficult, particularly for the elderly , to get in and out. May I suggest that you insert a hand rail .

We loved everything about Leopard Mountain, we simply couldn't find fault with anything. From the wonderful staff, superb food and the amazing room with a view.
Nothing, it was perfect.
6.0
Amazing location! The reserve is expansive and surrounded by beautiful distant mountains, which is something to marvel. General staff and game rangers were very friendly & welcoming - very eager to connect.
Ratings of 5 star are misleading. The property is officially graded 4 star by Tourism Grading SA, and may have declined slightly even. The check-in experience was underwhelming - after a long drive to the destination, you’d expect a comfortable & welcoming sitting area at front reception to process all documentation. The lodge is small enough to provide unique and highly personalized service at every point of contact with a guest (unlike larger lodges); however, management seems a bit distant and does not exude much warmth which was very disappointing. The general staff and the ranger (Shaun) more than made up for it.

Absolutely a piece of heaven on earth. Beautiful accommodation and the staff were extremely attentive to all our needs. The food was exceptional as well. We had incredible game sightings as we always do in the Manyoni Game Reserve. A special mention to Craig and Graeme our ranger who really looked after us. We will definitely be coming back in the near future.
Absolutely nothing, everything was incredible

The lodge is spectacular, properly 5 stars with everything that should come with that. It’s small and you feel very personally looked after by the staff and the guides. The rooms are fantastic and the views are breathtaking. The Safari itself was amazing. Our guide Sean was brilliant. His knowledge was outstanding and completely made the visit for us. He was patient, managed to finds everything we wanted to see. We managed to see the big 4, only missing the very illusive Leopard. I cannot recommend Leopard Mountain highly enough. Totally and utterly blow away by the service, the food, the staff and the whole experience. Dont book any other safari until you have been here first!

Everything.!!! Honestly, from Start to finish our stay was phenomenal. 5* plus. I can not recommend Leapord Mountain enough. The staff were amazing, Happy friendly and attended to our every need, ensuring our comfort. Our game.driver was astounding with his local knowledge and tailored our game drive where possible to see what we were looking for while ensuring our comfort and safety even to pouring us a wine on return from the game drive 😁. The rooms were outstanding with privacy and nature at your feet. We were privileged enough to receive private dining as we were on honeymoon and the food, ambience were immaculate, everything meticulously planned. I honestly can't fault anything, and why would I even try, I can't wait to return. Thank you to e eryone at Leapord Mountain for our beautiful memories.

We spent four nights at Leopard mountain and had a wonderful time. Many thanks to the team, especially to George, Craig, and Abigail. A stay at Leopard mountain is luxury and pampering. Leopard Mountain Lodge is just as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. The chalets are well-designed, excellently equipped, and you will feel very private. Needless to say – the room service is impeccable. When you stay at Leopard Mountain Lodge, you will be taken on safari in the Manyoni private reserve that includes the Big 5 and many other impressive animals. We admired the reserve’s beauty with lush hills and a winding river you can oversee from the premises (no need to go anywhere else for safari).
If you wonder what awaits you at Leopard Mountain: Each day follows a routine (included if you book all-inclusive, and you can, of course, decide which elements to participate in). You will wake up early and have just a short coffee and cookies before heading out for your morning safari. Several rangers work exclusively for the lodge, and they will drive you through the private game reserve and find the animals you are most interested in seeing in the wild. Beyond all the Big 5, the Manyoni game reserve boasts cheetahs, hippos, giraffes, zebras (you name it), and hundreds of bird species – we saw all those above (and more) apart from the Leopard. After your return, you will have an excellent continental breakfast buffet plus eggs prepared to your choice. You then return to your chalet or enjoy a spa treatment (the spa is extra). A lighter lunch is prepared “picnic style.” We often enjoyed our lunch on the porch of our chalet. Before the afternoon game drive, sweet and savory muffins/cakes/quiches are served in the common area. You will return from the drive in time for a three-course dinner served outdoors in the shine of lanterns.
It was our first time at a game reserve. We had not had on our radar that - given you are surrounded by wild animals - you cannot simply go for a run or a stroll. :-) It was great to have a yoga mat provided in the chalet.
It was so amazing to see the wild animals from surprisingly close distance. It would have been wonderful to even get more background information about them during the game drives.

We loved to stay in Leopard Mountain! We enjoyed the Game Drives with our Guide Alex! He is very passionate about the animals and knows a lot. The Suites are amazing and the view is beautiful.
The food quality could be higher. The meat had a lot of fat.

We have been to many lodges before and I can honestly say that we are going to struggle to top this one. From the warm welcome to the staff going out of their way to make our stay as memorable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent food, excellent location, great drives and sightings, wonderful staff. All round 10/10. I suggest the private dining experience.
I can't think of 1 thing I would have changed except for staying longer!

A piece of heaven on earth! We travelled to Leopard Mountain on our recent honeymoon, for what was our first ever safari and we were blown away.
The lodge set up on top on a mountain overlooking a river bed below was simply breathtaking.
On our first night we were treated to a surprise private, candlelit, fireplace dinner for two! The 4 courses that followed (as they did each dinner time) couldn’t have been tastier!
The staff we always there to help, and go the extra mile. The front of house team, George, Craig, Cebile and Fikile made us feel extremely welcome indeed.
Onto the suite… our private sanctuary to unwind after an early morning drive, complete with plunge pool and outdoor shower- it’s just a shame we only had time to stay 3 nights.
Onto the main attraction- Safari! Within our 3 night stay (6 drives) we were fortunate enough to see 4 of the big 5 (Lions, Rhinos, Buffalos and Elephants). A memory we will never forget is when a pack of 6 Lions walked within 4ft of our vehicle, one by one, moments later catching dinner in the form of a warthog a mere 100 metres away. Our ranger Sean couldn’t have been more knowledgable and friendly- a super chap who really made us feel welcome and no question was left unanswered! Another highlight has to be the sunset drinks out in the bush under the African sky (once again, Sean’s G&T skills were top notch!).
We really couldn’t recommend this place more, and WILL be back!
Thank you Leopard Mountain!

The game drives were excellent, plenty of animals and Alex, our guide was great.
The way the staff had to keep moving tables around from balcony in the morning for breakfast to the outdoor area in the evening for dinner. Also service was mixture of excellent to slow dependant of how they felt - all over us the first night at dinner, had to wait for ages on the second night. Felt on the day we were leaving they had moved on to satisfy newer guests. Came in from morning game drive to find only table for breakfast was in the back of the dining rooms as all on the balcony were taken. They did offer to carry our fully laden table out there but would have had to move two/three tables/ couples to accommodate us - crazy system . Not what I would call 5 Star.

The staff were all very welcoming and gave such a personal service.
The rooms and dining areas were spectacular and the views to die for. When we weren't out on game drives we were totally relaxed in our luxurious room enjoying breathtaking scenery and lounging in the splash pool. They kept us very well fed too.
The game drives where comfortable and well organised. Guides were informative and the wild life was plentiful. We saw all the big 5 except the leopard and loads of other special sightings, great general game and amazing bird life.
We will definitely be back.
3 nights was the perfect amount of time.
