The sea is just 1 meter from the hotel, clean room, clean and warm sea water, bus station 7 minutes by foot. Very nice personal. Usually we stayed a day in the hotel (because it has all wee need: air-conditioner, breakfast/dinner, sea 1 meter away from the hotel, pay-free sunbeds + umbrella, etc ) and the next day we travelled around the island or took a trip to another island.

This is the most peaceful place in Kefalonia! The Megas Lakos beach is paradise. The hotel was like a small village.. A very sweet familiar feeling. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. The foods served were delicious. We truly enjoyed our stay and we definitely plan to come back in the future.

Gerasimos and his family were very helpful and accommodating - efcharistó for everything! I loved waking up to a view of the sea from my balcony and having a lovely beach on my doorstep, with sun lounges and umbrellas provided for free by the hotel. There is a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in this area - I was finally able to get some much-needed rest :) The rooms are quite basic but clean, which was enough for a summer beach vacay when not spending much time in the room. There are a couple of cafes/tavernas nearby as well as food at the hotel (during set hours). The hotel is in a more remote location. Apparently you can walk to Xi beach, but I didn't bother as I was only there a few days and preferred the calmer beach atmosphere in front of the hotel. Lixouri is about a 10 min drive if you want to go to the town: you'll need to take a taxi as there are no public buses. The most economical way to get between the airport/Argostoli/Lassi to the hotel is by ferry - take a taxi to and from each port; the ferry is only around 3eu - my Lixouri taxi driver organised for his colleague to pick me up in Argostoli. I also did a day trip to Petani beach, which is about a 30min drive. One taxi tried to charge me almost double compared with a more reasonable driver that Gerasimos recommended.

Breakfast could be more varied, perhaps with some fresh fruits and vegetables on offer. To be fair, I didn't ask if there were any alternatives as I'd bought some fruit at the Lixouri supermarket.

Evening meal was not good. The hotel need updating. It has the perfect setting to be an excellent hotel.

We didn’t like too much, it was a disappointed experience for us

We are not happy 1-Rooms are small, it is full with extra bed. There is no place to move 2- Tv is very old, we didn’t touch at all. 3-Bathroom is small, there is no hair dryer. This was too bad.4- There is no iron as well. 5-There is fixed breakfast everyday. 1st time I have sen this. There is no open buffet , they gave everyday same breakfast for per person, counted cheese, egs,juice etc. 6-There is not enough sunbad chair at the beach , you have to get up early to catch one. Otherwise you have to sit under the sun or go to next rest. and pay money. 7- There are too much mosquito, it is very uncomfortable. I think we paid to much for this hotel.

Did have sun umbrellas on beach but guests would drop towel on sun lounger and leave it there for the week so no one had access to them, could be managed better so everyone has opportunity to relax on the beach

Beautiful small traditional vilage houses, friendly and kind familly staff, outdoor restaurant delicios food, all streight on the Beach. Showers back from the Beach. Clear water and beautiful sand. 5km to luxoury port for eveaning walks.

No moschitos nets on rooms due to tradițional doors - can't keep door opened at night for cooler air. The shower courtains could at some Point be replaced with securised glass.

View is fabulous, sitting watching the sailing ships/yachts passing the island across the turquoise sea Continental breakfast was fresh and varied. Perfect location for a very relaxing week. Right on the quieter side of Xi beach. The accommodation was basic but clean and the aircon worked well. The staff could not be more welcoming and were very helpful. The umbrella area for the guests on the beach was great. There are a number of other bars and restaurants all within close walking distance so you don’t need a car…. though we did to discover other areas and supermarket run.

It is a family run business, so Mr and Mrs Lukeri and they children went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and to make sure that our stay is as comfortable as possible when travelling with kids. Thank you!
