Overall service was very good, cleanliness, room was cozy, helpful staffs, the location all were great

however it doesn't have a full restaurant and only Bar menu means limited choices were not much of help at night, so had to went out for the dinner

The staff were rude and patronising spoke down to me. I asked what £30 deposit was for and they explained in a slow patronising way! totally unprofessional of them well then it was one Federica to be precise

There was no fridge in the room and my bathing wash was empty.

Everything is nice. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable! The breakfast is good too. It was the first time I found satisfaction with the hotel in the UK.

Shower curtain in disabled room filthy !!!! Didn't ask for a disabled room Rooms not as advertised Couldn't even find a seat at breakfast, the place isn't big enough to accommodate, and this was at 9am on a Sunday

Good central location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and excellent buffet breakfast. We left a pillow behind and this was sorted out with no problem by the supervisor, thanks!

Car parking is quite expensive, but this was partly compensated by free 1.5 kW EV charging available.

Room was clean, comfortable and tidy, staff very polite & helpful, short distance from The Crucible. Had an issue with the electrics in our room but credit to the staff it was sorted later that day.

Property in and amongst a lot of construction and regeneration work at the moment, also lots of litter and graffiti on the streets surrounding which would put me off returning.

Amazing just wish I had more time for a waffle

Cheaper parking , I found cheaper parking round the corner seems silly to our price yourselves and loose easy money

I booked earlier in the day and was not informed about road works outside the hotel nor was i informed about parking location, parking was therefore difficult to find and the car park was the smallest car park i have been in for a hotel, access to this was extremely tight also, room sharing a wall with the lift and room was directly above the road works both of which resulted in a poor nights sleep and to top it off the glasses in my room were chipped. Luckily i had purchased a drink from the bar befoerhand.

Breakfast was mainly good, the coffee machines and the coffee were terrible, scrambled eggs not nice, sausages not great quality.

Air conditioning in room but, no opening window, I felt like I was suffocating and was relieved to keep going outside to get some air.

Not of standard, the food need to be cooked properly eg eggs, it was running. The food especially the sausages need to be season and cooked properly. Also hair was found in the food The room located 123, it felt like water was flowing all night, when you enter the room smells because the main drain runs withing the room so it smells. Facilities need to look into that all our of the night water flowing and could not get a decent night sleep

-The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. -The breakfast was nice and delicious with a big selection of food.

-The parking was a nightmare, the hotel has much fewer parking spaces than their number of guests. It is on a first come first served basis. - They knew the room was for a family but we only had two bath towels and no duvet on the sofa bed. We had to wait for about an hour (it was 10pm by then) when we got them at last. - The sofa bed was very uncomfortable to sleep in.

Our room was lovely and big! The TV was huge and our duvet was the perfect thickness so we weren't hot in bed. The front desk staff were lovely and friendly. The breakfast is so good we won't stay in any other hotels now.

The curtains in the room are short and not full length so a lot of light comes through in the morning

Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice. The staff were amazing, went above and beyond. Room was lovely and clean, bathroom was fab. The hotel is in a good location, not too far from the centre but far enough to not be noisy.

Bed was a bit tired, not the most comfortable. Thought it was expensive, we come every year for the snooker tournament and never paid anywhere near this amount before.

This was the third time in three years we stayed in this hotel and we have noticed a decline in the quality of services offered and an astonishing increase in price. Room was far smaller that previous years, price was double and status of maintenance of the room was below standard. Last year I gave a 9. I will not book again

Attractive property, good location, quiet, spotlessly clean, excellent breakfast, fantastic shower, comfy bed, two pillows per person (bonus!) and super, wonderful, friendly staff! Thank you!

cleanliness, staff trying to help

I booked this hotel because it listed the possibility of having a room with two separate beds. This did not happen - my son (20 years old) and I were left to sleep in the same double bed, making the night before a competition for a National Championship awful. The booked parking was available for one night only and we were told to seek parking for the second night elsewhere - NCP. If I had known that this would happen, I would never have booked this hotel.

Clean and comfortable

Great location for the City centre and the Crucible theatre. Car parking on site - very tight but at least on site. Great breakfast included. Staff were outstanding and so helpful. Would definitely recommend and will come again.

It was really good - car park is tight though so if you have a big car (Q5+ in size) I would consider parking in an NCP rather than the hotel car park. That said, a Lamborghini managed to park at the hotel!
