Room was nice and comfortable.

Very noisy at night (neighbours) and early morning (seagulls) Poor breakfast Shared areas were run down. Paid for private transfer, told it would be private car, was old minibus, no aircon, dropped off at wrong terminal.

If you’re really young and need a cheap stay, don’t mind noise, dirt and no privacy this could be for you, otherwise think twice. The only upside is the free breakfast

We stayed in the downstairs private room and it wasn’t great at all. It doesn’t have a sofa as advertised, the wardrobe had obviously broken in the past and was then deconstructed into more of a bad art sculpture than a wardrobe and you can’t hang clothes. The description doesn’t mention that the balcony is shared with an 8 bed dorm and so we had to keep our shutters down all day and night otherwise all the guests could see right into our room. It was also very messy and noisy out there and never free from guests for us to use it. The noise from the kitchen, bathroom and hallway echoes into the room and the other guests were really loud. Most nights we had to ask people to stop talking outside outside our door at 3am and we barely slept all week. We also had guests coming into our room in the middle of the night on 2 occasions. It’s definitely in need of a new mattress as the bed sags in the middle. The kitchen facilities are bad - no sharp knives, the chopping boards are ancient, there’s never a clean glass or bowl and it was quite dirty. The shower was awful and the light in the bathroom goes off a few mins into your shower plunging you into darkness. It’s shared with a lot of people and contains the only toilet so it’s never free. Overall a terrible stay and I wouldn’t stay again even if you paid me. The room definitely isn’t private unless the shutters are kept down at all times and even then it’s soooo noisy. We complained on the first day that it wasn’t as advertised and were told we couldn’t get a refund or move rooms (there’s better private rooms upstairs). The staff were really unhelpful, didn’t seem to have any empathy about the situation and didn’t provide any solutions. We then had a week of being stuck there with no sleep and we dreaded coming back to the hostel each day

Bathroom and little fridge shared with just one other room, great view from the balcony, nice staff.

Very basic breakfast, the yogurts were served frozen. There was not enough of everything for all the guests.

The Staff was friendly and considering the low prices (compared to other places in Ericeira) it was appropriate. It is a good place if you want to meet people and just chill a bit without expecting too much comfort and privacy. (In the dorm)

The dorm was quite small, so the luggage is laying around everywhere. There is storage possibilities but they are a bit hidden and not convenient. The bunk beds are shaking when you climb up. Since the kitchen is frequently used, there is often no fresh dishes available and nobody feels responsible for the dish washer.

The atmosphere here is great, the location is perfect. The staff is welcoming and friendly. It's also a great place to meet people coming from all over the world. The private room we get had a beautiful view and the size is perfect for 3 people with also a nice balcony. Great place to be for surfers and travelers!

Maybe the cleanliness of the common kitchen or outside is not perfect, but good overall. Secondly, the breakfast is good but can be better with more fresh products. And to finish, we thought there was a big lack of kitchen tools, or too old for some. This only points to improve but not bad points for a staying honestly.

The staff is friendly just need to make more point about annoying guests to behave well

Another guests are arrogant.. one man use a bathroom where there is bathroom for a man, he talk not really nice act have the rights to use the bathroom for girl where as there is some girls need to go to toilet urgently. If a guy also can use the bathroom for the girl, why the owner provide bathroom with toilet bowl special for a man? Not make a sense for me , and there is another very disrespectfull to another guest. He brush his teeth while walking arround the kitchen like stay in his house, its dirty things because people there do some stuff for cooking in the kitchen. They also make a noise at 2 in the kitchen while everyone is sleeping. They also Don't use a mask when arround kitchen thats make a risk to another guest.

Good location and confortable

There were an insect in the room and the lights of the bathroom were switching off regularly

Spent a few nights on my own in this place so I cannot judge the ambiance. Staff were friendly, hostel was well equipped and clean.

Good breakfast, nice people, helped with everything, cleaning every day, comfortable.

A laid back place based stone's throw to all those iconic Ericeira's surfing spots. Good vibes, nice peeps. Definitely way to go if you're after either some epic surf adventure or taste what else Portugal has on offer.

Good if you are travelling with the car - no problem with parking at all.

Waiting for more than 1 hour for the stuff to do the check -in. Also at booking website it didn't say that bathroom is shared with other room. Breakfast was ok. Wi-fi miserable.
