We really like the house it was very spacious, the garden was great too and the location was just right for us.

The blinds in one of the bedrooms were not working and one room had only very thin curtains that at this time of year in particular is not great because of the early sunrise. Although the kitchen had quite a lot of things for cooking it would had been useful if it had a few of the common basic things such as a bread knife, oven gloves and a scrapper. Also there was no soap and not enough toilet paper, if this is normal, it would have been useful for the information to be provided in advance so that we could be prepared.

Very nice house and the location was perfect. The kids loved the goats.

Everything was very old, tacky and delapidated. Fake flowers, malfunctioning items and lack of sufficient supply of toilet paper. No hand towels and sanitation liquid were provided. Read the small script - you are expected to clean everything yourself and will be charged for your electricity and gas consumption. The owners showed up unannounced during the dinner to "feed the animals" by driving their car into the part where kids toys were scattered. No apology was offered for ruining our privacy. Ridiculous price for what it really is. P.S; the house was truly dirty.

Villa Bijenhof was very comfortable for our family of five. The location was excellent, particularly with the grocery store across the street. The outside was lovely and we would have really enjoyed it in the summer. We stayed in the winter and, fortunately, the hosts had throw blankets strategically placed around the house to help keep warm and cozy.

The only thing that could have made our stay better would have been little amenities like hand soap provided in the bathroom and coffee or tea provided for the morning. There is easy access to a store across the street, but we arrived after it had closed. These little touches would have been greatly appreciated.
