My cousin and I needed an overnight stopping point on our way north, and the Alpine Adventure Holiday Park met all our requirements. Cabin was clean, we had our own kitchen and outdoor area and carpark. The beds were comfortable and my knee high dog was able to sleep in her own bed in the cabin. It was quiet, peaceful and we had a good night's sleep.
The staff do a great job at this camping ground, they're always pleasant and helpful. Can't find anything wrong. The only thing wrong with Hanmer this time was we arrived too late to get into the hot pools, and they didn't open till 10am next morning.

Thought had great facilities for families especially. We liked the pet friendly as brought our spoodle Teddy.

Loved it all! Had the kitchen cabin, it was huge!!! Sony beds haha, was just and my boy.
Kitchen in cabin was GREAT, had everything and more, super comfy heater was on when we got in, bliss!!!!!! Cool place, family friendly!!!! Also read ypu can have dogs! Have recommended to friends! Really enjoyed our stay in Hanmer!!

We loved our stay. We had one night here and will book again for a longer stay. It was super comfortable, and everything was really clean 😊.

Great location, perfect little yard for my dogs.
This isn't the hosts fault but there was an off leash dog wandering around. My own dog is afraid of other dogs so it was hard to get out of my car with the loose dog.
The other thing was the room smelled musty and triggered my asthma. Opening the windows and/or using a fan to increase air flow while people aren't there would be a good idea.

We stayed in the basic cabins. Heater provided, table, dishes, comfy bed, decent common bathroom, kitchen, dining room, quiet at night. We especially liked the friendly and helpful staff, and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Third photo is also part of the cabin, opposite the bed.

Great location, quiet surroundings away from the busy township, we also had a unit with a fenced courtyard for our dogs, very handy.

TV and internet drops out in poor weather, no Sky on TV, too far from town to walk, shower spray weak, milk provided on arrival tiny, smell of dampness, many window catch fittings missing

Location, have to drive into Hamner, which due to lack of parking, can be a drama.
