Malcolm and Karen were really warm and friendly hosts. Karen went out of her way to help make changes to the booking due to train strikes. Breakfast is to die for and the bed was luxurious. Everything was perfect. will be back again. Thank you so much.

Such a lovely B&B, great hosts and exceptional breakfast. One of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in.

A wonderful hotel. Karen was really friendly and hospitable. Location very close to the Old Town so easy to get around. Delicious breakfast and comfortable bed. Lots of nice touches, e.g. chocolate sardines on the bed which made things extra special. Couldn't fault it.

Everything was wonderful

The Laindons is an absolute gem of a BnB. A beautiful building with rich history, the design is all stunning and finished to a high standard. We were made to feel very welcome, with lots of little touches to really make our stay special. Huge thanks to Karen and Malcolm for their hospitality.

Fabulous breakfast

We were aware in the information that the top room had a separate bathroom and low ceilings but next time we will book a room on the floor below. It was still lovely but quite tight for space

Everything was excellent such a little gem it’s an oasis and Malcolm and Karen were just the most fabulous hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in a stunning place, nothing else to add.

Everything was unbelievable all the little touches, it was exceptional.

The property was a home from home vibe. Large bedroom with comfy twin beds. Crisp sheets with pillows to choose from. Amazing room toiletries and goodies. The breakfast was TWO courses!! All of which was so tasty. A lounge with comfy sofas to relax in after a day of sightseeing. A beautiful period feature house. Amazing hosts and an excellent B&B.

There was nothing to dislike!!

Lovely room and communal areas. Very good breakfast, it was delicious. The products in the room made me feel pampered, and I was even able to book a massage to feel even more pampered. Great location for the sea front, fascinating shops and gorgeous food. Malcolm and Karen were the cream on the cake. Very warm and welcoming.

On arrival the owners were very welcoming even though we were early. Location is superb and a 2min walk to the seafront. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable and of a great size. We had breakfast and this was freshly cooked and served by Malcolm who was a great host and couldn’t do enough for us. Hastings being one of my favourite costal towns not IF but when we visit again we will stay at the Laindons and highly recommend others to do so.

The fact we only booked one night.

The Laindons is a beautiful place to stay. It's very tastefully decorated, comfortable & we had everything we needed. The hosts are both warm & welcoming they even made us a scrumptious birthday cake! What more could we ask for. In the centre of Hastings we will definitely return. Thank you.

Nothing was too much trouble, the room had every kind of luxury, from beautiful bed, fantastic shower gels, body lotions, amazing mini bar. Not mini at all! Three course breakfast, which was divine. A real find right in the old quarter of Hastings, very friendly pub few doors up. Honestly doesn’t get better than a stay with owners, Matthew and Karen. Top marks guys! X Cathy and Steve Nash

The ambiance. The wonderful room. Lots of lovely extras in the room. Great hosts!

Welcome was friendly, room was a spacious Georgian. Owner made sure to check bed set up before arrival. Best stocked snacks and mini bar I've seen in 30 years of travel for work. Bed comfy, linen high quality. Breakfast delicious. One of the best BNBs in which I've stayed.

The breakfast was amazing. Stayed 4 days and we tried a different breakfast everyday. The best was the vegetarian. And we are not vegetarian. The breakfast is chosen from the menu the night before. Bed big and comfy. Room had shampoo,soap,conditioner etc..really no need to pack this stuff as it was proper size and not those miniature bottles. A mini bar done on a honesty policy. Hosts were really welcoming.

Personal choice. Too many pillow/cushions on bed.

Lovely room, very comfortable bed, delightful staff and delicious breakfast in pretty conservatory room. Great location in Old Town with car park only a couple of minutes walk. Would highly recommend.
