Está bien ubicado y tiene una playa cerca

No tiene los servicios básicos para tener huéspedes. No había energía eléctrica, los aires acondicionados no servían, había plagas (cucarachas) y la piscina estaba sucia. En general el sitio está muy abandonado. No es recomendado para ir y menos con niños.

El sitio es muy agradable.. perfecto para descansar

El agua de la piscina que era tibia por el sol.

La ubicacion, personal desatento,no habia nevera en las habitaciones, no cambiaron las toallas,si uno queria consumir algo en la puscina tenias que ir tu mismo a hacer el pedido hasta la cocina, el menu. Definitivamente no volveria.No colocan agua en las habitaciones, y se fue la luz 2 veces, hay zancudos y avispas en las habitaciones, y en el restaurante, zona verde descuidada.

Es un lugar hermoso frente a la playa. Las instalaciones son bonitas y la piscina es grande y limpia. El desayuno es muy rico e incluye variedad de frutas.

Quizá el costo de los almuerzos.

El lugar , el tener todas las instalaciones disponibles para nosotros solos por la poca presencia de otros huéspedes dado que fuimos en días de semana laboral. La amabilidad del personal, siempre sonrientes y atentos a resolver todos nuestros requerimientos La gastronomía del restaurant, todo maravilloso y decorado con gusto. El cariño de Coco y de Lola que nos acompañaron cada vez que nos veían. La ardilla Chip (así la bauticé) y las 3 Guacamayas que nos sorprendieron con su vuelo. La tormenta nocturna y sus truenos, rayos y relámpagos. La piscina exquisita con agua caliente en su superficie.... Todo maravilloso

Love the location right on the beach and away from all other hostels but still within walking distance to other bars and restaurants. It was quiet, room was spacious but lacked furniture (could use some night stands). The wifi was poor in the room and had to go to the restaurant. Macaws in the coconut trees, great big pool and good food at the restaurant. They had tours available and I would recommend doing the tubing/indian village tour with the local dog shelter (dog shelter Palomino), it's great fun walking and swimming with a bunch of friendly dogs. The hotel is easily accessible with a moto chiva to the town. It was a great stay and they welcomed my dog too.

wifi and lack of night stands

It was very tranquil, if we forget the wedding that was being held in the next hotel over. Good pool and nice beach with swaying palm trees. The rustic cabanas were wonderful.

Lack of a secure place to keep your valuables.

This place is really good. The room we got was beautiful, and the rest of the hotel is really nice! The staff was very helpful and kind. The portions of the food are very generous!! I ordered a patacon guajiro and was very very pleased. I would recommend you to visit this place if you come to palomino. It is a bit far from the town but it is quite and tranquil here! a tuk tuk, motorcycle or car can easily take you here in 5-8min and the walk is not more than 30-40min to the "town".

This places is very very good considering the relation price and what you get... Although everything was very good... I could complain just a bit about the pool. It is a nice pool but a bit more maintenance could be desirable.

Location is great! Super quiet and calm, the perfect place to relax and disconnect. The pool is great in size and the staff was really kind and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is tasty and has huge portions!

The staff is wonderful and they were very friendly from the moment we checked in. The location is hard to beat. It’s a 8-10 minute drive to downtown Palomino and has a nice remoteness to it. The pool is beautiful and directly overlooks the ocean…which is amazing. The food was spectacular and a really nice surprise. Breakfast was a plate of fresh fruit and eggs how you want them with an arepa.

The rooms are large but not all of them have air conditioning. Make sure you pay attention when you book as to what kind of room you get. The beds are EXTREMELY hard. The bathrooms pretty nice but lack the updates you’d expect from a 4/5 star hotel.

Breakfast is included, the restaurant was amazing for ordering lunch and dinner and it has a great big pool beachfront.

Rooms are spacious, comfortable bed, excelente bathroom, pool area and beach are clean. Staff is super friendly and always willing to help. Food is delicious. Not too far away from town but is far enough for beach vendors, although some are seen every now and then.

Food and drinks menu is a bit too expensive but portions are generous. Lightning in the room can be improved.

Fantastic location. My wife and I were so delighted that we chose this hotel. The location is wonderful, right by the beach. All of the huts are immaculately clean and have surprisingly good Wi-Fi throughout the whole resort. We are both vegetarian and were also very pleased with the options available in the restaurant. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful

We liked everything

Hukumeizi is located towards the end of the row of hotels along the beach, which makes it more quiet and relaxed. The cabañas are relatively spaced out and the hotel's property is pleasant to spend time at. The pool is great, as is the beach front.

I have visited several times before the pandemic. The place is now under new management, and it shows. It has become more commerical, including new "modern" cabañas, more guests (including groups), more "efficient" service, etc. Its understandable, but it has lost a bit of its very relaxed and out-of-the-world personal charme. That said, I would still come back and recommend it. At least for now. Unfortunately, a big new hotel is being build relatively close by... :(

Great location. Comfy bed and pillows. Nice grounds. Quiet. Lovely pool.

Reception was a bit lack lustre, they didnt seem to interested whether we stayed there or not.

The wifi was very bad. The food was bad.

Pool area, right at the beach, calm

The location! although tricky to get to especially after dark! once there you found little hotel cottages spread across greenery and right on the beach!

I chose this property because I assumed since it wasn’t a “hostel” or “eco”, it would have hot water in the bathroom, if not from the mains at least from solar panels. But unfortunately the sink and shower tan freezing cold. Especially after hiking/horse riding and swimming a hot shower was a basic i needed. I didn’t see the listing saying it only had cold water.

rooms need better maintenance. Single beds MUST have mosquito netting. As they are at present they are unusable
