Good photos on the site.
The restaurant is unreliable. The day before I ordered breakfast for 7am, it arrived at 7:25am. The personnel did not bother to apologize for the delay. Very unprofessional. They added random charges to the bill without any explanation.
The rooms have no space for anything, and they smell. Instructions for everything, but things do not work. AC is very laud and impossible to sleep. Room service picked up a towel from the floor and put it for use. The hotel is far from everything.

The rooms had everything I could have wanted or needed. The restaurant has some simply amazing food!
No complaints here!

Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Rooms have a fridge and coffee machine which is great for keeping your drinks cool and having a coffee early on a morning before tours. The hotel has a nice pool, and a nice restaurant attached. It is in a quiet area close to a couple of supermarkets.
The property is far from the centre of San Ignacio, if you don’t mind walking its 25 mins from the hotel down hill to the centre of town. However 25 mins up hill is a struggle in the heat, so a taxi is a must most of the time. There is a bus stop where buses from Belmopan to Benque and Benque to Belmopan stop not too far away from the hotel, which is useful if you’re coming from either direction.

They held our luggage when we went to Tikal for 3 days.
Just what we expected. We wanted someplace that had a resterant, convenient and it was good.

we loved the restaurant on property! Vilma was great and the food was delicious!
the lack of an elevator for 3 floors was rough- is a lot smaller than I had thought from the photos. Some upgrades would make it better, but it was overall ok

The staff was great. The restaurant was great, Great food and Marg's. Will help you with anything, planning tour trips or ordering outside food. Will even drive you for part of your tour. Rooms are nice. Thank you everyone.

Great experience, clean room and amazing breakfast. Close proximity to town. Wonderful experience as a couple.

Restaurant was great. Menu was varied so we ate there all four days. Breakfast by the pool was relaxing followed by a swim.
Staff were fast and efficient and accommodated any requests for menu substitutions.
Overall staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nothing. Good value for price. Nice quiet location up on a hill overlooking town. Property was very well maintained and landscaped.

The room was very adequate.
Noisey dogs barking all night. Cook didn't know how to cook eggs over easy. Drinks were too expensive.

The whole place was well-decked out for the holidays! Tons of lights, garlands, ornaments, etc. Very festive! The staff was friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant was very good! We had dinner--chicken flautas, one cocktail, and breakfast. The room was quiet, comfortable, and SUPER clean. There was a mini fridge, safe, coffee, and two complimentary bottles of water. There was a wall AC unit that was quite loud but did its job. Our room had 2 queen beds which was perfect for my sister and me. We slept well and were comfortable. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and the shower was a large tiled shower.
The pool is in bad need of paint but it was clean. The water was too cold to go in, but we did dangle our feet. Some touch-ups on paint throughout the property would be nice, but that did not affect my stay at all. We chose the hotel based on its proximity to the things we wanted to do and the value. The price was very reasonable, and based on that, I sincerely felt that it exceeded my expectations.

We stayed in Rolson’s since they had good cancellation policy on Booking.com (which is important during the pandemic), had a restaurant on site, and reasonably priced. It is not fancy and we weren’t looking for a resort since we were out all day doing tours and activities. The owners and staff were super nice and accommodating. It is in a residential area and the dogs were barking a lot at night which was super annoying. Also, the Mountain View room that we were in had old AC that was loud. My husband had a hard time sleeping. They moved us to a quieter room in the newer building. I highly recommend getting the room in the new building since the decor is modern and the AC was new. We ate at the restaurant several times. The food was inconsistent and we learned that they had 3 different Chefs. There was one night that I ordered the pork chops and it was delicious. The other nights, it was very salty. We liked the Belizean Breakfast with Chicken Stew and Fry jacks. It was consistently very good.

Perfect spot for our business trip since our business is just a few blocks away. Nice pool to cool down in and good food in the restaurant… And the staff was always very helpful and polite. The owners are a cut above!
We actually stayed at the hotel twice during our time in Belize, and while we got a very competitive rate the first week of our trip, booking.com increased the amount we paid per day for the second booking of our stay, not the hotel’s problem.

The host/owners of the hotel are wonderful people. They make you feel welcome and have a nice place here. Well located not only for our business trip but also close to many tourist destinations. The restaurant and the pool were very enjoyable after a long day getting business done and needing some time to relax. Good value and we will be back!
The room had a bit of a musty smell which is prevalent in high humidity destinations.

Great Breakfast. All meals were great. Staff very helpful. Very quiet area. No traffic noise, could hear and watch birds while you ate meals. They had backup lighting when there was a country wide blackout. We would stay there again.
Not sure anything could have been made better. Rooms were quiet and clean.

I loved the staff of both the restaurant and hotel. Although there may be other hotels that are newer, the staff keeps everything from the walkways to the rooms to the restaurants immaculate. Additionally the hotel and restaurant are incredible value especially compared to prices in Belize City.
The room size but not huge but large enough. Also the hot water was a bit tricky, but if you follow the clearly written directions near the shower, they gave unending hot showers which were nice...

Food in the restaurant is excellent. Staff very helpful in answering questions about the area and helping arrange transport etc.
It wasn't an issue for me as I like walking, but it's a 20 to 30 minute walk from the town center. If you have a car or are OK taking taxis it's not a problem.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was comfortable and had a nice desk space for remote working.
The pool is in the back so shady and chilly in the afternoon, but they deliver drinks poolside so that’s a plus!

I liked the rooms and the Mountain View.
When we got there our room was not ready so we had to wait awhile to find one that was available. The owner upgraded the room to a king size bed which was okay. What I didn’t like was that we waited a while even though we stated we would be there at 2 I also got the feeling that the owner preferred tourists/foreigners at her hotel and I felt that she looked down on us because we were just belizeans. Although she upgraded the room to accommodate us, she didn’t seem to welcoming or excited for us to stay. I believe because tourism is picking back up hotels are more waiting for American tourists rather than Belizeans. I liked my stay but I don’t think I would stay again. The other staff were super nice though.
