this rental was in great shape. it has everything you might need. we were in town for a family wedding. It was a great place to relax. I got to have my family over for a cookout on our last day. We all had a great time and we loved being able to go right down to the lake any swim. ( will say bring swim shoes like bit of stones going in but no problem) the beach for this rental was great. We all had a blast at the lake. It is a bit down the hill. They have built a great path down. Making it so much easier to go up and down to the beach and lake. I would give this rental a 10.

This was the second year my family rented this lakeside cottage, as we all loved it so much the first time. And it did not disappoint this second time around. The house has all the comforts we could need for all nine of us. We loved being right on the water, and not having to cross any roads to hang out by the beach. The paddle boat and kayaks added to the fun time, as did sitting by the fire pit at night. The host was very responsive to all our needs and we had a thoroughly enjoyable sta

This place was amazing!!! Very clean inside and out with everything you need. Great neighborhood on a quiet street. Hot showers, comfortable beds and plenty of space. We can not say enough about this cute cottage. 😍

We stayed here while we were up state for the Belmont Stakes at Saratoga. The home was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We wished we had a little more time to enjoy the lake so we will try to schedule that next time we're up in the area.

We loved our stay here! The layout was perfect for our 4 kids, family, and my husband and me. Everyone loved the lake and was constantly out on the kayaks or enjoyed from the shore. The home was very well stocked with consumables. The host was very responsive and friendly. Perfect place for quiet, family time!

We found the cottage to be well stocked, comfortable, clean, and in very good condition. It was great to have the little labels taped around the house offering hints, such which light switch is for which light fixture.
The location of the cottage is excellent. The neighborhood is nice and quite and it is also very walkable. The cottage being located in a nook in the lake made using the lake really great because unless a wind was coming from the north, there would be very few in any waves on the water. Having access to the row boat, paddle boat, and kayaks was amazing, which allowed us to really take advantage of the lake. Also, I have had the time of my life fishing here. Some really great fishing spots with tons of bass can be found about 5 minutes away from the home by row boat.
Last but not least, Marilyn was wonderful host that was responsive and caring. I sure hope to come back to this cottage in the future.

The whole experience was fantastic. Marilyn answered any questions we had and the cottage had almost anything we would need. Location is ideal. The lake is beautiful. Close to grocery stores, ice cream, breweries. Had an amazing long weekend with great friends.

House was perfect for a family get together with my sister & mom. House is charming & cozy and stocked with everything you could need! Loved mornings on the expansive deck, days on our own private beach/dock, and evenings around the giant dining table! The lake is stunning & we enjoyed kayaking, row boating, swimming & fishing. We had a great stay last week! The house was very clean and well-stocked - from kitchen or grilling cookware, to extra sunscreen, to extra kayaks - everything we needed was here! The parking was plenty for a truck with boat trailer, and the dock was perfect for a jon boat. The lake was great for kayak exploration, and we found a couple of solid fishing spots. The photos on the listing don’t do justice to how lovely this home is. The house itself is great! We enjoyed the cable, wi-fi, kitchen, amenities, etc. Everything our family needed was available. There was a private sandy beach with kayaks and a paddle boat that we all loved. We had a great time. Marilyn is a great host and hope to come back next summer!!

The house sits right on the lake and includes the use of two kayaks, a paddle boat and a row boat. My son and his family joined us from St. Paul, along with my daughter and her family from NY. We had a spectacular time! Marilyn, the host could not have been more accommadating. The house was cozy and and large enough to comfortably sleep 9 of us. We had a grand time. It was simply the perfect setting. We will be back.

We stayed at Marilyn’s wonderful property for a long weekend while attending a concert in Saratoga springs. The property is beautiful and clearly well loved by the owner and it’s family. It has charm, it’s comfortable, and makes you feel right at home all while lakeside with amenities to enjoy the lake and your stay inside in case it rains, like our weekend for one night. Definitely recommend and will hopefully stay again next summer. Thanks Marilyn!

This lakefront property had everything we needed for a comfortable, and enjoyable stay. The open kitchen, dining and living room space was perfect for entertaining and socializing with family. It offered several bedrooms with a good amount of privacy. We stayed for New Year’s, so sadly we weren’t able to enjoy the lake, and all
it’s recreation, but there was an air hockey table in the main area and there were several games available to keep us entertained. The spiral staircase is the main focal point which leads up to a master common area with a full bathroom and two bedrooms. The neighborhood was quiet and there were stores and restaurants 10 minutes or more away with several seasonal businesses nearby. The host was friendly, and responsive. I’d definitely stay there again.

Lovely Stay!!
My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this lovely and charming cabin. It was so nice for us to start the new year on a peaceful note. Being surrounded by the beautiful pines with a great view of the lake helped to make this stay extra special. Marilyn was also wonderful and very helpful, and we look forward to returning!!

Wonderful lake house
This charming lake house has it all: kayaks, paddle boat, canoe, fire pits, deck, grill, gas fireplace for cozy evenings indoors, and a great kitchen. Marilyn is a responsive and caring host who messaged us about the upcoming weather and offered to rework our travel dates around the rain. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms complete the comfortable stay. We look forward to renting from Marilyn and enjoying the Great Sacandaga again!

Beautiful lake front property.
This is a beautiful lake front home. Three bedrooms with large beds. The upstairs loft also has two futons and a great set up for kids with TV and video games. We enjoyed using the kayaks and even saw a bald eagle. We rented a pontoon boat near by at Reets Marina for two days and we’re able to dock the boat at the camp! This house has everything you need and holds true to the listing. The only down side was the overall cleanliness and lack of proper maintenance. With a few changes it could go from good to excellent. The beach area had old dock tires & pvc pipes. The air conditioning worked but was very obvious never cleaned. The one in the down stairs bedroom was putting out a smell. It was a very hot week we stayed in August and ac was a must. Also we were lucky the lake was water was high which isn’t always the case. The entrance porch had a extra fridge which was very handy but again the porch needed to be organized and cleaned up! Marilyn was awesome and even checked in to make sure we didn’t have any issues! Overall a very nice place!

Very well stocked, comfortable, quiet and pretty property. You can tell it's been well loved by the owners and cared for. I highly recommend this property. Its like sleeping in a tree house. The 5 of us stayed here thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Plenty of space.

Cute cottage
It was a very nice cottage/camp setting. Nice little beach and seating area down by the water. It’s in a little cove so it’s not super busy and is nice and quiet. Love the spiral staircase and porches. Overall a very nice stay.

Fathers Day Adventures and Recharge weekend
Cottage/ home is located right on the lake amongst the tall trees. The landscape was adorned with pretty flowers and fern along the steps down to the water-dandy bottom beach made or 8 year old happy swimming and jumping off the dock.
We enjoyed the use of the paddle boat, row boat and two kayaks. We ventured to and from the sandy island that turns out to be about 1 mile from the house.
The location was and beach was perfect for our small sailboat that we were able to take out both days-weather and wind were
great!!
Inside the cottage, everything was provided - we had a ton of fun playing the air hockey game, and enjoying our meals on the nice long table that was also great foe evening game playing….morning and evening coffees on the porch everyday were the way to start and end each day. Thank you so much! We cannot wait to return.

Adirondacks Getaway
We had a lovely time at Marilyns Lake House! The house was clean, well equipped and met all of our needs. There was plenty of room, and lots of extra touches that made it feel like home. Marilyn was super easy to deal with. In fact, one evening there was a terrible wind storm and we lost electricity( due not to any fault of the house but an outside power line). Marilyn managed to get the electric company out right away and it was fixed within a few hours! We would definitely return again to this charming home.

Beautiful home in perfect location
Our family of 5 (adults and 3 small children) stayed here for a winter getaway. The house was cozy, clean and well decorated. Plenty of sleeping arrangements, a beautiful view of the lake and an air hockey table to keep the kids entertained. The location is great for a number of winter activities; we cross-country skied, tubed, and ice skated. The host, Marilyn, was welcoming and very informative, with the check in and use of the house very well explained. It was a great stay and I would recommend highly.

A relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting
Our family of five (parents & adult children) were delighted to spend our "covid era" Thanksgiving break at this lovely spot on the southern shore of the Great Sacandaga Lake. This well-appointed and cozy cabin is located on a quiet cul de sac, with steps leading down to the shore. The neighboring cabins are close, but the neighbors were very quiet and pleasant; the interior is charming, well-cared for, and equipped with everything we needed (eg: cooking utensils, dishes & basics like spices, wifi, a nice cable-equipped TV, games, books, linens, a nice gas fireplace, and more); and Marilyn was very accommodating, informative, honest, and sincerely interested in making sure we enjoyed ourselves. We also enjoyed walks to a nearby dam, fires in the chiminea, having our well-behaved pooch with us, and the ease/convenience of having a couple stores a short distance away. All in all, a very nice getaway!

Amazing lake house stay!
The house is beautiful and located next to many great hiking trails and nature preserves. We had a 6 person group with a small dog and were accommodated very graciously by Marilyn. The house had all the cooking utensils and appliances we needed to cook and avoid restaurants during these strange times. Both floors were clean upon arrival with beds made and bath towels available. Though the water levels were low (due to drought) we took advantage of the opportunity to walk out on the sand. The fire pit was an added bonus! Overall the weekend was a surreal experience and a perfect oasis.
