I understand the need to be environmentally conscious, but I dislike that the hall lights were on a motion sensor. Every time I walked out my door the halls were scarily dark, and there was an uncomfortable, then jarring delay in the lights going on. I would have much preferred the lights on, but dimmed.
The motion sensor lights in all the hallways and stairwell.

Both my wife and I found all aspects of the Hotel Le Rive to be exceptional. The location among a group of restaurants at the boat dock of Lac Leman was great as was the community of restaurants and cafes along the waterfront. Our exceptionally clean room was optimum, as we had windows on two fronts to enjoy the lower portion of Nyon. We found the staff to be highly professional, knowledgeable, and patient as they assisted us throughout our stay. This was a great hotel experience. We loved it.

The location and view are incredible. Also, the included breakfast was incredible!
The only negative was the hair dryer didn’t work in our room, and it could have used a couple more pillows.

We had a lovely large room with comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the lake.
There was tea and coffee in the room and breakfast was good.
We had chosen le Rive because the forecast was very hot and the rooms had air-conditioning. Unfortunately although the air-conditioning was effective it would not stay in "silent" mode. It was possible to put it on silent but after a while ti would turn up the power and was noisy enough to wake us up. We mentioned this to the staff on the first morning and they promised to have it looked at but we had the same experience each night.

The Hotel was wonderful, staff were very friendly and helpful, food was exceptional, a wonderful atmosphere, veiw from room and balcony was amazing, would highly recommend.

On the lakefront, right next to the ferry! it was quaint and the included breakfast in the morning was awesome! The room was perfectly sized for our trio! Beautiful views!

Great lake side position in vibrant town a short downhill walk from the train station (15 mins to Geneva and 20 minutes to the airport). It’s uphill back to the station!
Very good cuisine and Le Lounge restaurant has a big balcony looking directly over the lake.
Rather noisy air con in bedroom.
No tea/coffee making facilities in bedroom.
