Azedine welcomed us very nicely with tea and Moroccan sweets. The location was perfect—right along the walls of the Cité Portugaise. Breakfast was delicious on the relaxing front terrace!

Azedine was immediately welcoming. Tea on the terrace, he even carried our bags up to the room. He suggested a great restaurant for our first dinner which had amazing seafood but affordable. The property is filled with traditional Moroccan crafts. Many of the fixtures and tile work are original to the property. It’s very beautiful. The rooftop terrace was a wonderful place to relax. We asked a few favors and he was so helpful! The water was hot for a great shower. I would definitely stay here again and tell my friends to as well.
All great

the riad is in a special location at the back wall of the Medina but only minutes from the gate so private, quiet and convenient. our host Azedine was exceptionally gracious and made us absolutely at home and welcomed. he goes way beyond the “extra mile “ to help with finding our way with taxis and restaurants. Also the rooms were lovely with lots of hot water with good pressure.

The location was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The whole place needs a good clean. Not good value for money.

The Riad was cozy and clean. Azedine welcomed us at our arrival, let in the evening. He suggested us a great place for our dinner. He prepared a fantastic breakfast. We’ll come back !

You can't beat the location. It was easy to find, too, and well marked. The host was kind and always available for whatever we needed. He offered a place to keep our bags after we checked out in case we weren't ready to leave the city. The riad itself is in a quiet area in the medina.
This isn't really the fault of the riad, but know that if you are on the first floor and there is someone loud staying above, you will hear it.

Azeddine, the man working there, was so helpful and nice. He was extremely kind and made me tea and talked to me while I was waiting to leave for the train. He also held my bags when I left to explore the city in the afternoon.

It is in the historic old walled city which makes it a unique experience in itself. Its quiet, slow paced.

The Riad is in a great location, and the manager was very friendly. It's certainly inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.
The manager said he would have the heat turned on by the time we returned at night. The radiator was on, but it was only slightly warm, and it turned off shortly after we went to bed. The room was freezing, and the shower in the morning had luke warm water. The manager also stated there were no restaurants that were clean in the medina and walked us to a clean, good restaurant. While that restaurant was fine, there was another restaurant (called Eucalyptus) on the rooftop of a building in the medina that had great food and was clean. The breakfast was adequate, but I would have chosen a different spot and paid a little more. Please note: if you pay for a guide for a half day, the price is regulated by the Moroccan tourism bureau. Only pay 250 dh regardless of the size of the group.

I was upgraded to their best penthouse room overlooking town ramparts, which was nice. It has roof acces, no neighbors and a wide comfy bed.
Light sleepers are advised to take an interior room, as everone in town keeps chickens, and there is constant night-time cock crowing on all sides.

Is very good located
On the website they have a price with all the taxes included, the final price that should be payd. At the check in they charge us again extra the taxes. We ended up paying the taxes twice. And was very hard to explain to the staff the situation because are not speaking english at the level of the conversation.
