The guesthouse is beautiful - very atmospheric and in a wonderful location for exploring the Medina and the Tanja Bay area. Both are within a few minutes walk. Fantatsic staff.

The room was tiny

The garden was divine.

Everything was superb from arrival. Our room was small but super cozy. The staff were incredible on every level. We wanted to eat at the house however were late booking so went to Diblu for dinner...one of the boys called ahead and advised we were heading down......we loved our food and our waiter was fabulous.

If it was any hotter....air conditioning in our room would work a treat. As it was we only spent 1 night therefore not really an issue.

a little haven of loveliness in the hustle of Tangier - staff were amazing and building stunning with a funky eclectic style, breakfast was delightful and we found the whole stay lovely just wish we had more time but will definately be back

our room was right where the laundry was being dried which didnt bother us by can imagine some people wouldnt like that also its an old house and some people might not like the rougher edges that come with that

Beautiful property- the garden is fabulous and the house itself is beautiful. We stayed at a small casita, isolated from the big house, which was very nice as we could sit on our patio and enjoy a quiet evening. Definitely walk around the whole property as there are some nice views from the top of the garden.

Cleanliness and upkeep can be improved - I know it’s hard to maintain such a big property, and while the garden is amazing, the places you can sit for breakfast or just to relax around the rooms can be a little better and cleaner - the covers were dirty and had some holes in them. I understand it’s impossible to keep it perfectly clean with all the trees around, but could be better. Bathroom condition and cleanliness in our room could also be improved.

Very friendly staff. Lovely gardens and pool. The staff went out of their way to provide a nice breakfast for us even though we were leaving before breakfast was supposed to start.

The property is gorgeously set on an inclined terrace, with lush foliage and intricate furnishings. The breakfast served in the main room was great and the staff were very friendly and supportive. Staying there is an experience in itself, and we would highly recommend it!

We happened to arrive on a very cold day. Difficult to heat an old building but the extremely helpful personnel did what they could. Even arranged a hammam for us.

Mimi calpe is a fairy tail. second time we stayed here and just as beautiful as the first time.

the baby bed was not in a good state, we only stayed one night but we recommended them buying a new one for future guests because our baby didn’t sleep well in this bed

Love the retro interior and decoration of Mimi Calpe. Welcome dinner is great and good breakfast too. We went up to the tree house for aerial view. It was winter time so we did not use the swimming pool but can imagine dipping in if stayed in the summer season.

Wifi signal is not that stable, keep disconnected or shown no internet connection.

It’s a very beautiful villa, very unique.

It is definitely overpriced for the kind of comfort that it offers.

The place was a hidden gem in a great location. Electric blankets were a nice touch! The staff was very helpful, attentive and friendly. Excellent ambience!
