At 9pm the swimming pool was full of children. The male jacuzzi stated no minors under 16 years old. However, this was not adhered to and there was no management of it.

The service was amazing. The team surprised my fiancé and I with a cake and a card, and left us tiger-themed goodies for the Chinese New Year. Breakfast is copious and has lots of Chinese & Western options including tang bao, jian bing, and proper bacon. The spa area is nice and well maintained as are the pool and gym. Our room had a nice view with a huge bathroom and closet area. Little details like pillow choice made all the difference. We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks to Shangri-la for making our Lunar New Year special!

The location is really close to the train station (good) but there isn't much around the hotel in the way of restaurants and shops.

Hotel staff, breakfast, location all wonderful. What you'd want from a 5 star 🌟 hotel.

Overall it was a wonderful stay. A little pricey for the place but service was superb. Need some updates to the bathroom mainly. Toilet could've been more private and the tub was a bit small.

Some staff were rude and talked to me in a condescending tone. Extremely unprofessional
