The location and the staff were extremely nice and helpful

Make sure you stay on the 3rd floor- the rooms there are okay. I was on the second floor and the room was so bad I had to check out 5 days before my due date.

The Manor Hotel is a long standing family hotel in the best neighborhood of Kigali, we have been back many times and it's like a second home to us. What we love most is the relatively large pool & cozy terrace that is also popular with families on weekends, the very authentic and tasty cuisine with many options (Indian, Italian, Chinese, and convenience snacks such as burger & chips), and Kigali's best outdoor gym with fresh air & stunning views.
The Manor also regularly has some live music, some traditional dance and other events. It is equally a perfect hotel stay for business travelers and for families, as you get a perfect dose of both quiet space and entertaining activity on the premises. The neighbourhood is extremely safe and very quiet, and one of the best areas if you like doing quiet walks in the morning or evening. The hotel also features a business center, a hair salon, a meeting room, or a TV area if you like to just enjoy a drink and watch the news or sports. The owners, the staff, and guests at the Manor are always such wonderful people and you get the family vibe. In my view, The Manor has one of the greatest atmospheres and the absolutely best VALUE for MONEY in Rwanda and that's why we keep coming back and can always recommend it.

I had a wonderful experience at the Manor Hotel. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! and the Best view from the hotel. Golf club is straight away on the front of the hotel. inshort it was a good experience.Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues!

No lift to upper floors, can hear outside music so maybe the room is not sufficiently insulated, so many stairs from entrance but was otherwise a good room

Spacious room with a source of drinking water and air conditioning. Safe and calm neighbourhood. Beautiful views from the hotel. Three different menus on the restaurant: Chinese, Indian and Italian. The airport shuttle offers a good service for a fair price (15U$D).
Old facility: the rooms are not well isolated and some of the furniture should be renewed, specially the carpet. Despite of offering a buffet, the breakfast was quite simple and with no big variety or tasty food.

The photos on their website are giving a false impression of the hotel. It is nothing close to the photos.

The hospitality of the staffs,food and clean environment.
We got disappointed towards the end of our trip and decided to vacate the Hotel. The hotel had booked a team of young adults which made the place noisy and messy. It was very uncomfortable.

The Rwandan staff were all exceptional.
The location is perfect in a nice neighborhood with close proximity to Town and KCC.
Found 7 cockroaches over 5 nights in the room and toilet (October 2022).
The pictures you see are nothing like what it is in reality- do not be fooled.
No ventilation at all in smelly toilet.
Aircon wasn't working, they had to sort out when I was in room.
On check-in, the first two rooms they showed me had a stuffy smells, had to request seeing the third room which I was forced to settle with based on room availability.
This sign board outside the 'hotel' has 'Two Stars'.
This is definitely not a four star hotel.. Its more like a motel at extremely high rates. It is an old building that requires upgrades. The only really good thing at this place is all the staff who are Rwandan, these people are superb.
I should have rather spent a little extra and booked myself in a real hotel that meets my requirements, but the pics advertised misguided me. Unfortunately in this situation, I do not have any consumer rights to have claim a refund or leave as I paid for the full accommodation upfront.
