Amazing staff, great breakfast, perfect for our stay. the facilities are very good, very nice pool on the top, and nice area to relax. Beds are very comfortable.

What’s not to like about the Beachouse? It is a beautiful, pet-friendly B&B located just outside of Ericeira. We were warmly greeted by Diana, and a lovely bottle of wine & cheese. Throughout our stay, we experienced amazing hospitality: comfortable beds, robes and slippers, quality soaps & shampoo, beach towels for the pool, a gorgeous breakfast spread prepared fresh daily by chef Ana, and a private terrace. I could go on and on….The Beachhouse is located just a few minutes drive from Ericeira center, and is within walking distance of the gorgeous Ribera d’Ilhas beach. We spent a leisurely few days watching the surfers at the beach and then returning to the Beachhouse to relax on the terrace or by the pool. I have stayed at many wonderful accommodations through Booking.com. This place surpasses them all! The photos of the room below were taken after 2 days, so any mess is reflective of us; not the Beachouse! Also included is a photo of the breakfast spread provided for two.

Not actually a “didn’t like” but suggestion: it would have been nice to have a shelf or small vanity table in the bathroom to put our toiletries. There is room in the bathroom for either, and two women traveling together could use that.

The hospitality, the cleanliness, the comfort, location and breakfast were all excellent.

Great property in an awesome location just north of Ericera, nice and quiet with awesome pool area. The staff were fantastic and the breakfast every morning is a great start to the day.

Breakfast is really good - eggs, fruit, cereals, toast, pastries, and much more. There is a good kitchen if you want to cook, which we did one of our nights. Its about 15mins walk to the beach. There is a really nice pool too which I used a lot.

Very welcoming place, felt like home. Great breakfast and food available for us all day (even a freshly baked cake waiting for our arrival at night). Clean, comfortable, and very close to Ribeira d'Ilhas. Kid friendly. Awesome pool, protected from the wind, with a great ocean view. Great stay overall.

The rooms should have curtains to allow for some more privacy without having to close the stores.

Very nice location in a beautiful valley at a 10 min walk from Ribeira d'Ilhas. Very clean, comfortable room with balcony and view. Swimming pool with an amazing view. Delicious breakfast, delicious cakes! and a fully equipped kitchen. The owners will do everything to make the stay as pleasant as possible (arrange contact for surf lessons, arrange contact for transit to Lisbon, advise you on restaurants etc). Really enjoyed every bit of my stay.

Since it is a bit away from Ericeira a car comes in handy. I didn't have a car but Ribeira d'Ilhas is very close and Uber works very well in the area to travel a bit further away.

Diana and her team were so lovely the entire time, making us feel super comfortable and at home. It is a short walk to the nearest beach for surfing and I spent many hours sat around the pool reading my book. Perfect holiday :)

Car essentiel, short drive to restaurants

Angela, Diana & Anna. These three woman really have made something out of this house and make this guesthouse special. Great hospitality from beginning to the end. Even before my arrival Diana, the manager, contacted me to ensure personal welcoming. She gave me great tips for sightseeing, activities (surf lessons) and restaurants and was always available in case of questions. Anna, the daily executive, provided some great breakfast which left no wishes open. Angela, the owner, even made me a packed lunch when I had to leave early for surf lesson. All of them were very attentive and always good for a chat. The house is located close to the among pro surfers famous Ribeira d'Ilhas beach with an easy 5min drive distance to the centre of nearby Ericeira. Walking there might be a little far so a car is recommended. During the day and at night the area around the house ensures a relaxing quiet atmosphere and a good night' sleep. Only in the early morning you may hear some cars passing by from people going to work but that's it. The room is clean, spacious and modern and with a balcony which was great to relax on at noon. Altogether the house has a feeling of home which made me even extend my originally planned stay and I will certainly come back.
