Glebe House was a hidden gem. Beautiful countryside location and so peaceful. It was lovely to look out and see horses in the morning. The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities one would need.Linda was a fantastic host very welcoming and the breakfast was gorgeous. We will definitely be back.

The location of the property was lovely and the grounds were impeccable. The property had lovely antiques throughout and was very nicely decorated. It was nice and quiet and private.

We had 2 twin sized beds in our room pushed together to make a large bed. The mattresses were quite noisy when you moved or turned over in bed and the headboard was hitting up against the wall. The bedding seemed quite old but was very clean. Unfortunately my husband found a hair under his breakfast pancakes, nevertheless the food was good.

Staying in such a beautiful old house was a real treat and we were made to feel very welcome. The bed was so comfortable as was the view from it in the morning of the horses in the paddock. A lovely breakfast with fresh fruit from the garden served with a perfect smile. Thank you all for a lovely stay

The breakfast was very good, great selection of freshly prepared and cooked food. The location was good as we wanted to cycle the Royal Canal which was only minutes away and the owner was very helpful giving us directions.

Loved everything

This was a perfect spot to stop, right in the center of the countryside. The location was easy to find. It’s very peaceful, with friendly people and pets (including dogs, cats and horses). The rooms were spacious with en suite, air conditioning and a tv. The breakfast was delicious with more than enough to fill even the hungriest teenage boys. We’ve told all of our friends to stay here on their visit. The local Inn, just a short distance away, has a fantastic pub where we had one of the best dinners of our entire trip. I only wish we hadn’t been just passing-through because the local walks/hikes sounded amazing.

very quiet and peaceful location. our room was large and overlooked the garden and paddock with horses. comfortable room with nice shower room en-suite. Linda was a great host who provided a warm welcome we drove to glasson for dinner but Linda and her daughter served a delicious breakfast the next morning. a real taste of home cooking including fruit, yoghurt, cereal, soda bread & homemade Jam. a included in the price.

the WiFi was a bit hit & miss on arrival but Linda soon had it sorted.

Linda is such a lovely and friendly host. The bed was very cosy and I had a room with a view. Breakfast was tasty and plenty of it. The house is simply beautiful and overall a feeling of being wrapped in a cosy warm blanket.

The landlady was an excellent host. She served tea and homemade banana bread on arrival, and made sure that every need was met.

I randomly selected this place to be close to Ballymahon for the Film festival. My stay at Glebe House was terrific; Great service and Great residence. The owners were fantastic hosts and lovely people; very cultured and easy going. My experience had exceeded any expectations that I had. I would definitely visit again! The hosts and staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We could only stay one night unfortunately. Guesthouse was beautiful and breakfast delicious. Hope to return. Fran from Wicklow
