This was a well equipped hostel-style facility housed in whatblooked like a former farm building. It was well equipped with both kitchen and laundry. I had a dormitory to myself.

Hässleholmsgårdens Vandrarhem is a great place to stay! It's nicely located, very clean and everything you could wish for is there, even a sauna. Camilla really went out of her way to make my stay even greater than it already was (for example by searching for (and finding!) a place to rent a bike). Definitely would recommend staying here as it is a very comfortable and cozy place with a nice atmosphere.

Location needs better signage from the road. There is nothing to confirm there is a hotel there and on an initial attempt I gave up looking and returned to the town, only returning when I was assured there was a hotel there! Wedding going on in the big barn opposite was SO noisy! (I know that this is nothing to do with the hotel!)

The location, buildings, landscaping, and exteriors were all exceptional and quite serene. The maintenance was impeccable.

The interior was a disappointment: utilitarian and minimalist. The furnishings were as inexpensive as possible and the beds more suited to a children's summer camp than for a hotel for adults. The facilities for exercise were exceptional and had quite a large number of people showing up daily to use them. The bedrooms were less than adequate with cheap, low quality beds that popped springs and support at the lightest movement. There was no place in the rooms to set up a laptop and use it comfortably. Instead, it had to be balanced in the edge of a low table and bent over from a low chair that quickly resulted in back pain. No real effort had been made to decorate the rooms and give them any sense of personality. They were closer to what I would describe as institutional. In truth, the hospital rooms at skukhusset were warmer and more welcoming. I had the opportunity to recommend this hotel to 4 friends 2 days later but did not do so, suggesting instead that they look elsewhere for accommodations.
