Well renovated little house with two bedrooms with own bathroom. Nice garden. Great hosts. Rural area, but close enough to nice beaches.

Sernadinha was a perfect place for me and my family ( two kids of 7 and 3). It is located very close to the most beautiful beaches of Alentejo, in a very peaceful village. We have the opportunity of riding horses and meet the new born small pig ( one of the best attraction for my kids). The house and garden is very comfortable and with very good taste. Also our anfitrion, Antje, in words of my son of 7, " the kindest woman in my life". Thank you for everything our stay in Sernadinha has been perfect, and we expect repeat the experience!!

Our little house had green views across the valley, and was surrounded by cork trees and tall grasses that hummed with the songs of birds in the day, and the sound of frogs and cicadas at night. In the day we explored the surrounding countryside through a network of dirt tracks, surfed, and hiked the Rota de Vicentina. But honestly, mostly, we also just wanted to sit in the garden looking at the view and the wildlife, and having lazy lunches (well equipped kitchen by the way) on the little terrace. At night we had BBQs, looked at the (very bright) stars, had log fires and experienced the world's most wonderful bath-with-a-view! Truly, this little place was paradise and we were sad to leave. Our hosts very sweetly let us groom their ponies, invited us for drinks and to explore their pond, and arranged a horse ride with a local guy. They were even gracious when we lost the key (sorry!). We will be coming back for sure.

We might have liked a bit more good teas/ olive oil to get us started. But the bottle of wine was very much appreciated.

Reiner and Antje, Thank you very much for having us at your wonderful Sernadinha! We didn't get a chance to meet Antje, but we met Reiner - a very kind, attentive and friendly host. Thank you for a warming evening that we've spent together! As we expected, Sernadinha appeared to be a perfect place to spend a vacation, to relax, to enjoy the nature. We had well equipped, modern house (very clean & thoughtfully designed), charming garden, two terraces and amazing views! Fresh air full with birdsongs, even in November! :) Reiner & Antje, we really didn't want to leave, as we felt absolutely at home and we would certainly like to come back! Sernadinha is the place to stay! Not far away from the ocean, easy to get to Carrapateira, Sagres, Lagos, Faro and other beautiful places. Great property with beautiful houses, amazing gardens - full of flowers and cork oaks!
